Jealousy

Ch. 9 Maria's POV

We entered and there was pictures hanging all over the halls. There was pictures of my wrists, pictures of my back while taking a shower, pictures of my dad beating me and my mom, pictures of me and Colby in bed that one night, pictures of me sleeping, pictures of me shopping. I started to cry I fell to the floor and started to cry a lot. Colby kept hugging me. The squad took the pictures down and ripped them. They threw them in the trash. Jake was really mad that he punched a wall and his fist started to bleed. "It's not only one person that's doing this" I say. Everyone looked at me so shocked. I digged through my bag to get the picture and the note.
"These are different hand writings." I begin. The squad was looking at them.
"Maria is right." Adds Brennen. I turned to look at Jayla walking down the hall from her locker.
"Hey Jayla hand me your notebook so I write down the dates we won't have cheer." I suggest
"Ok." She replied going to her locker.
"Seriously? All you care about right now is cheer!?" Confronted Kat
"Shhhhhhh I know what I'm doing now all of you shut the fuck up" I whisper. Jayla comes back with a notebook I look through the pages and I see that it's the same exact paper that was used for the note. I saw there were pressed lines.
"Someone give me a pencil." I ordered. Reggie handed me a pencil and I shaded the page. The same exact writing, the same exact words. Everyone looks up at Jayla. When I looked up at her I was smiling like if I was going to kill her. I get up and hold her by her arm really tight. I start dragging her to her locker and I see the squad following me.
"Open it or I'll dig my nails in you" I threaten. I was still holding her arm while she was opening her locker. I find a camera in there, pictures, sprinkles. They were poisoned sprinkles. I saw the same sprinkles on the cupcake she gave me. That day I threw it away. I was so mad I couldn't hold it in. I grabbed her and threw her to the lockers
"You piece of absolute shit! You were stalking me! You exposed my family! I SWEAR I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" I yelled. I threw her to the floor and got on top of her and started beating the shit out of her. The squad was trying to hold me back and trying to pull me away.
"Don't touch me!!!" I yelled. The squad backed away then I saw Jayla in the eyes, I saw my hands and I saw her face. I was acting just like my father I get up and run to the bathroom with tears forming in my eyes. I heard someone come in. I was in a stall crying.
"I get your upset on what you did but if you thought you were a monster like your dad, you aren't. Your Maria. You defend your family and everyone you love. Don't cry because of her. Just please come out and let me hug you." I heard them say. It sounded like a guys voice and instantly I knew it was Colby. I got out of the stall and went to hug him and kiss him. He looked at me in the eyes.
"I love you." I heard him say. I put my head in his chest.
"I love you too." I reply. I got myself cleaned up and I went to where Jayla was. MaryJane was cleaning her up. By the time MaryJane saw me she was done. She moved away from her right away.
"MaryJane it's fine. But Jayla I want you to tell me why you did all that and you are officially kicked out of the squad for life. You broke 11/30 rules. But tell me why the hell you did that." I questioned pissed off. She got off the floor and looked at me.
"Because I liked you. I said to stay away from Colby because YOU were mine not his. When I saw you didn't like me back I wanted to make your life hell. That guy your squad beat up remember, that was my brother. I paid him to rape you but they had to come in. And those photos were to show people who you really are." She addmited. I looked at her and laughed.
"Did you also do the chandelier?" I asked.
"That time and the photo wasn't me." She replied.
"Squad, let's ditch. Let's go buy some snacks and go to the beach. I want to enjoy my last day of freedom." I begged. Everyone looked me confused.
"My dad is coming back from his business trip." I added. Everyone nodded their heads and we all ditched. We drove to the liquor store. Me and Colby bought beers and vodka. We also bought chips and soda. Jake drove us all to the beach in his new truck he got. Everyone was in the trunk drinking and I was in the backseat looking out the window drinking water. Everyone screamed and laughed. Colby got ice and opened the small window from behind he put ice in my back and everyone laughed even me. When we got there I quickly took my clothes off except my bra and panties. The other girls did the same after 2 shots of vodka they had. I decided to float in the water. Then I went underwater for like 2 minutes everyone was worried. Kat went to my side and she was going to dive in to get me out then I popped out. Everyone was relieved. After a while later Colby just looked at me and he seemed upset. He was the only one on shore with me. The rest were in the water.
"What is on your mind?" I asked Colby.
"I remember when your dad was here he wouldn't let you date, go out or anything. He would keep you in the house all day except for school. I am sad because I will miss you."  Cried Colby.
I look at him and I saw he was crying.
"Colby..... after school is over I'm moving to Los Angeles California" I added. He sat up quickly and looked at me.
