*Lauren's POV*

"okay so nick and the boys are coming to my studio session" I say to emily who's getting dressed

"OMG YAY ZION" emily says doing a little jump

"I'm scared" I said

"WHY" emily said

"because there gonna hear me sing, what if they think I suck" I say

"OH SHUTUP. LITERALLY SIMON COWELL, THE SIMON COWELL THE ONE WHO FORMED ONE DIRECTION IN CASE U FORGOT, THINKS UR GOOD ENOUGH TO BE SIGNED TO HIS RECORD LABEL SO SHUSH" emily screams at me

"okay I guess ur right" I say

We both get ready to go to the studio and emily drives there. I start to get more nervous as we get like 5 minutes away. We pull up and I see Edwin standing outside with Brandon and there taking fit pics.

"hey guys" emily says

"YOOO" they both say hugging us

"nick and Zion are inside with Austin" Brandon says

"yeah we better get Lauren inside" Emily says

Omg Im fuckin scared as hell. I walk in to see Zion in the booth with nick and Simon sitting in a chair.

"hello ladies" Simon says getting up to hug us

"hi Simon" me and emily both say hugging him back

Nick and I make eye contact and he beams with happiness and my heart melts. This kid is really something like damn. He runs out of the booth and gives me a big hug. Zion follows nicks actions and hugs emily too.

"hey mama" nick says

"hiiii" I say smiling at the fact he called me mama

"so what were u guys up to?" emily asks

"oh nothinnn" Zion says smirking at emily

"well that face says different" emily says back at Zion

Simon interrupts by saying that I had to get in the booth. I was trying to stall as much as I could but Emily mouthed "you go this" to me and suddenly I got a boost of confidence

"okay Lauren we have your track ready, start whenever u feel comfortable" Simon says as the boys and Emily take a seat on the couches

you got this Lauren. just breathe. I hear the music in the headphones and I instantly feel comfortable. I am just recording a cover to post on my youtube as a little teaser of what is to come. I rewrote the lyrics to With You by Chris Brown and now is time to record.

*after she's done recording*

"and thats a wrap for today!" Simon says

I walk out of the booth gleaming and emily gives me a big hug. The boys follow with hugs and they all congratulate me on recording my first cover. I take a deep breath because the hardest day is over. I usually am really shy when I have to sing infront of people since I'm so new at this but Im so happy that I had amazing people by my side.
