JEWELL SAT ACROSS MIKA who struggled to add the glitter onto her eyelids properly. She was far from a makeup guru but she was pretty sure that she could do a better job than Mika. "How about you let me do it instead?" Jewell chuckled playfully, making her way across the room.
It was 1 am, and instead of falling asleep for the second to last show, Mika was experiencing a bad case of insomnia. She rarely had problems with rest so she felt weird. "You want to explain to me why you woke me up in the middle of the night?" She spoke groggily before pulling up a cheer next to her.
"I couldn't sleep and I saw you sleeping peacefully so I decided to change that." She smirked mischievously before turning her attention back towards the mirror.
"You're not even applying it right. Lemme see it." Jewell snatched the glitter away from her. "Have you ever felt something was wrong but couldn't quite put a finger on it? Like I feel weird all over. I'm not sad or anything but I just feel meh. I think that's why I'm struggling to fall asleep." Mika explained, running her hands across the bags underneath her eyes.
"So, that made you want to play with makeup?" Jewell questioned curiously. "I didn't know what else to do. Besides, I want to come up with a new look for my last show on Sunday. It's going to be the main event and I'm so anxious for it." She could feel her heart thumping.
"Oh, I know why you're anxious. You're ready to see your husband so you two can do the nasty." Jewell winked, watching Mika scrunch her face. "I have you know that I'm innocent. I don't do whatever you speak of." Jewell only kissed her teeth.
"Well, how did Amara get here?" She questioned, making Mika smile innocently. "Well, it happened when . . ." Jewell quickly stopped her from speaking. "Spare me the details, I don't want to know what you and Tupac do behind closed doors." She winced.
"When are you going to get back out there and find someone?" She asked, looking over at Jewell who released a sigh. "No time soon, I'll tell you that much. Yaki left such an impact on my life that I never expected. He was like a breath of fresh air. And I took him from granted. I'm glad that you didn't make this mistake because it hurts." Seeing Jewell hurt, mate Mika hurt.
