prologue: discovering a legacy

Y/ns pov.

It was a normal day for me i was walking back home from my school when all of the sudden i walked past an old and broken down path.

Y/n: The fuck....

I start to follow the path which leads me to some broken down gate. The gate has a w on it.

Y/n: The hell is this place....

I quickly jump the gate and i keep following the path until i reach an old run down mansion.

Y/n: wow.....this is insane.

I walk inside only to see that its dark. Just then 3 bats fly at me making me jump back in shock.

Y/n: ack shit!

I fall to the ground only to see some sorta old clock. So i walk up to it and dust it off. But as im doing so i accidently open it. My eyes widen as it leads down into some sorta cave.

Y/n: What the hell did i stumble onto?

I head down into the save only to see that the power was out. I look around until i find a light switch labeled back up power. I flick it and the cave lights start to turn on.

Y/n: What the hell...

I look around as the lights turn on only to realize that i just stumbled across the batcave.

Y/n: Holy shit.....

I walk over to the computer only to see some sorta flash drive laying next to it. I plug it in only for the computer to boot up. It starts to play a message.

Batman: If your hearing this i must be dead. So whoever's watching this pleasw listen closely and carefully. You see vale needs a hero. Someone who will rise up against the criminals and protect the innocents. Now i want you to become said hero. I want you to become the new batman. Now i understand this is a big responsibility and i understand if you cant do it. If you cant do it then leave the batcave and dont return. Once you leave the cave will explode. But if you think your up for the challenge then please scan your hand on the bat computer.

I quickly scan my hand. Just then i get a notification on my scroll. I see that a bunch of money was just transferred into my bank account.

Y/n: Holy shit.....

Batman: now then since you said yes i have contacted an old friend of mine to meet you at the cave and help train you. Goodluck.

The computer shuts off. I start to look through the batcave. After a while i hear the door to the batcave open and a guy looking around his mid 50s walks down.

???: so. Your the new batman?

Y/n: Yes. Who are you?

???: My names dick grayson. Ill be training you.

Y/n: Ok so when do we start?

Dick:  right now.
