He's a Slurpee Boy

"So, we're gonna walk for the whole day?" I groaned as we walked through the woods.

" No , I'll find another way " Hop replied But to be honest, we four were out of breath .

"I thought this friend of yours lives in Illinois?" Joyce commented . "Not a friend, just an acquaintance" and he continued " hey hey hey hey !! Keep up!!", pulling Alexei forward harshly.

"Woah Easy Chief" I informed as Hopper shrugged. We all were super frustrated for walking which felt like an eternity.

I softly patted Alexei's shoulder and smiled at him again to cheer him up for walking such a long way. He sweetly smiled back with all his efforts to show me that he's totally alright but boy.. I could see that he's very exhausted.

"Kim" Hopper called my name.

"Yes?"

"I have something to tell you after all of this finish okay?"

I stopped my footsteps and asked "Is it something bad?"

"What No, it's just I've planned something for your future" he replied . Hopper had always been like a father to me since my parents' car accident.

But as soon as I was about to talk to Hopper , Joyce informed us " Hey he's running! ". We both turned to look at Alexei to find out that he was running away. "Son of a bitch!!" Hopper cursed . He chased after Alexei and so did I.

Finally, we caught him up to find out that he was standing at the cliff , looking at 7/11 with his bright smile . Jesus, I was panting a lot that I couldn't catch my breath anymore.

"Anyone got cash?" Hopper asked panting.

"Yeah , only about 40 bucks" I replied.

As soon as we entered 7/11, it was literally like a heaven . I could see Alexei's eyes sparkling and he was smiling like a small kid who's at the ice cream shop.

We all drank Coke as if we just came back from the Sahara desert.

"You all gonna pay for those?" The man from cashier asked. And for reply to that question , Hopper Burped .... pffftt , I nearly choked on my canned juice because of his reaction.

While we were buying things that we'll be needing on our ways to Illinois, Hop left outside trying to look for a vehicle.

I glared at Alexei and saw that he was sticking out his hand to the Slurpee machine. "no no no noo " I rushed at him as I giggled which made him look at me with questionable look. "Here" I took the cup from the cup holder and asked him the flavor by pointing at the them.

" okay so cola, strawberry or cherry?"

Without hesitation , he pointed at Cherry flavor. I nodded " As you say Sir" and made him a Slurpee. He smiled happily when I gave it to him , like really I could even see that this cherry slurpee made him happier than ever

After that I wrapped my arm around his and led him to the snack aisle for him to choose whatever he likes . We both ended up buying snacks we love and yeah I think we're becoming really good friends.

We got out of the 7/11 and saw Hopper talking to the man with car at the gas station.

"Ah ! There he is !! Officer Gray please get that child murderer quickly on the car, this man is lending us his vehicle " Hopper Shouted at me. Child murderer ? I thought. He's really hilarious at lying though.

We all got on the car and the man yelled at us , "Hey! How do I have my car back?!"

"You're doing the right thing!" Hopper replied as we drove away.

So, we successfully stole the car and left to Illinois. Hop said his friend there can speak Russian so that we have hope now.

I watched Alexei who was drinking his Slurpee beside me. I smiled to myself because he really looked like an adorable baby . Starting from that moment , I made a decision that I won't get Alexei hurt by the Russian society or anyone else. It is my duty to keep him safe and to protect him.... to protect Dr.Alexei
