"Izzy sweetheart wake up." There was a hand on my cheek.

Please tell me I'm not back where I started.

I opened my eyes slowly. "You fell asleep Izzy," Aro smiled.

"Yes I was tired," I aaid groggily.

"Youre amazing," he said.

"How so?" My cheeks turned red.

"Not many vampires sleep. There are very few that I know," he said.

I nodded and looked down shyly.

"Do you sleep?" I asked.

"No, I wish. I do mediate until I'm in a state of mind where I'm near unconsciousness but I'm still fully awake. It's relaxing I guess. Some of us stay up and play video games or go out to the bar," he said.

"How rare is it that vampires get drunk?" I asked.

"It takes a lot of alcohol to get a vampire drunk," he said.

"How much?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Do you want to get drunk?" Aro asked trying to hold back a laugh.

"No.... I'm just curious. James... my old owner came home drunk most nights. I just was curious how much he had to drink in order for that I said with a sigh.

Aro looked down. "Bottles and bottles," Aro said quietly.

I nodded. My head was spinning thinking about everything James had done to me. I just leaned against Aro.

He held me close rubbing my back gently. "We don't have to meet everyone today. We can wait until tomorrow dear Izzy," he said.

"No we can meet everyone. I'm just destracted. I apologize Aro," I whispered.

"For what?" He sighs having me look up at him.

"For being destracted and not paying attention," I whispered.

"Don't appologize for anything, you're okay. You have nothing to apologize for," he said.

I nodded and looked down. "Thank you Aro? What day is today?" I asked.

"September 10th," he said.

I nodded and looked down sadness in my eyes.

"Why?" He asked having me look up at him.

"My birthday was the 4th," I whispered quietly.

"It was?" He asked.

"Yes," I whispered.

"How old are you?" He asked

"19.... I think. I lost track," I whispered.

"Well happy birthday little one," he said and kissed the top of my head.

"Thank you," I whispered quietly.

I looked down.

"Lets go meet everyone," he said.

I nodded and held onto his hand tightly. He led me to the throne room. Everyone stared. I looked at everyone shyly.

"Everyone this is Izzy," he said.

"Izzy this is my fellow brothers Marcus and Caius," he said pointing at the two men in the thrones.

Marcus stood and came over to me "It's nice to meet you," he said taking my hand. "Welcome home."

"T-thanks," I said shyly hiding on Aros side. Aro and Marcus gave a quick eye contact. Then I saw Aro nod.

"What?" I looked up at him.
