Peter POV

Everyone was surprisingly eating in the living room, watching some show I was not at all interested in. When Mr. Stark spotted me, he threw a burger and fries at me, and Bruce was smart enough to intervene, handing me a milkshake.  I uttered a small 'thanks', to which Bruce nodded, but I couldn't get my mind off of Bucky, and I think he knew that because he'd glance at me before looking back at the screen.

"So like, are you an Avenger?" I asked. Mr. Stark glanced over at the question. "You can say that. I'm the Winter Soldier."  My eyes widen. "Ooh, so you worked with Steve back in the day?" Steve choked on a fry, and Tony burst out laughing. "Back in the day! Ha, that's a good one, Peter." "Sure did, Pete," Bucky couldn't help but chuckle. "Is that how you got the metal arm?" I asked, my eyes flirting down to it as casually as they could. Bucky lifted his arm a bit before putting it back down. "It's actually Vibranium," Bucky corrected.

Steve only frowned down at it. "Much stronger than any other metal you'll just find." Bucky smiled back at him. "Best prosthetic arm I could possibly have," Bucky assured him. I tilted my head in confusion before flopping over on my back. "That's so cool. It must make you really strong, right?"

Bucky nodded. "Gives him a thick skull too," Tony grumbled. Steve elbowed Mr. Stark. "Anthony..." Natasha threw them a glare. "Can you save the chit chat for later?" I nodded, bowing my head. "S-Sorry," I crossed my arms with a pout. "So you're not Jesus in disguise as an Avenger?"

Bucky cocked his head to the side. "Sadly enough, I'm not. But then again, who's to say?" Bruce clicked his tongue. "Oh yeah, Wanda and Vision are planning on visiting tomorrow," Bruce announced as an afterthought. Steve tsked. "I won't exactly be here tomorrow to greet them. I promised Sam I'd show up at his niece's birthday party for pictures."

Natasha couldn't help but laugh. "What are you, Santa?"
Steve rolled his eyes. "I'm just trying to be helpful, that's all." "That's very nice of you, Cap," I complimented. Steve gestured to me, looking at everyone else. "Thanks, Peter. See? At least someone here appreciates me." Tony pulled Steve close in a hug.  "Don't be such a baby, Rogers."

Steve looked reluctant at first, but soon enough he cuddled into Tony's side. They really we're a cute couple together. I opted to silence and ate the rest of my food. I soon realized that whatever they were watching was old and I didn't understand the lure whatsoever, so there was no point in actually trying to understand.

Everyone seemed so immersed but Bucky, who was playing with his hair mindlessly with his fleshy hand. This only brought my attention to his Vibranium arm. It looked so shiny in the illuminating tv light.

"Can I--" I gulped nervously, rigging my fingers. Bucky peered at me in confusion. "Can I touch it?" Tony's body was positioned towards the tv, but his eyes darted over to me in what I can only describe as terrifying. But I have a feeling Mr. Stark wouldn't try to murder me, especially with all the Avengers here.

Bucky chuckled gently, holding his arm out to me. "Go ahead, kid." I began to rub it in awe, my jaw dropped. It was so smooth and polished. I began to grip it with a little bit of my spidey strength, and I couldn't even put good pressure on it.

However, Bucky took notice of the pressure and raised an eyebrow so I lightened up. "It's almost stronger than iron," I exhaled. Tony turned his head all the way to me with a frown, his eyebrows furrowed together. "Hey!"

"It is," Natasha stated simply, sipping loudly on her milkshake. Tony glared at her before looking back at me just as I let go of Bucky's arm. "Peter, I forbid you from hanging around Bucky. Sit next to me."

Steve looked up at Tony with his head now resting in his lap. "You're jealous." It wasn't a question, it was a statement.

"W-What? It's--no!" Tony blubbered at the word 'jealous'. However, it was written all over his face, and there was no denying it. "No worries, Mr. Stark. I'll always be your intern," I grinned assuringly. Everyone laughed, except Mr. Stark. Even Bucky threw his head back, clapping my back with his metal arm, nearly making me fall forward. I have never seen Mr. Stark look so triggered."That's it!" Mr. Stark pointed down t6he hall. "Go to bed!"

My jaw dropped and I frowned deeply. "I just got up!" "Go back to sleep, and starve." I snorted through my nose, but obediently stood up and waved to all the Avengers. "Fine, goodnight everyone!"

"Goodnight, Peter!" Everyone replied. I then began to happily skip down the hall into my room, nearly forgetting the events that only happened earlier today. I refuse to acknowledge it, it'll only give me a headache. My room was still dark, but I could see my bed in the moonlight that shimmered it. As I sat down on my bed, I only now noticed how quiet it is.

Living here, where there are hardly any people in proximity, it's pretty quiet. Luckily, there are crickets right outside, being happily loud. All I  could ask for at the moment.

I yawned widely, before resting against my pillow. Some extra sleep couldn't hurt--"Ah shit..." I grumbled, getting up and walking into the bathroom. I forgot to brush my teeth.  I was quick but thorough before jumping back into bed. "Sleep," I sighed happily. But then I couldn't get comfortable. I began shifting around with a whine.

"Oh come on."

I buried my face into the sheets with an exasperated groan, simply giving up on being comfortable. "This is such bs," I hissed. Soon enough, my body finally relaxed, and my body was the perfect temperature. My eyes began to droop before finally fluttering shut.
