Yep, this ship is just one of my favourites...even if Alex did shoot Jay...not the point lets move on.

There will most likely be some spelling errors and I'll check in the morning so if you find any, please let me know :)

Part one out of two.

~~~~~
Jay Merrick had really dug himself a hole this time.
During the last couple of years, he had done his fair share of stupid mistakes that could have been avoided with more planning. To mention a few, breaking into Alex's house and leaving his flashlight, practically stalking Tim, then there was that time at the abandoned house.
Can you see the pattern?
But out of every single mistake, this was going to be the end of Jay Merrick. If he just listened to Tim, maybe this whole thing could have been avoided.
Or so he thought.
Currently, Jay was walking down the seemingly endless hallway of Benedict Hall. His flashlight lighting up the dim lit area, his eyes darting side to side at ever single sound. He could feel himself growing more paranoid by the second, in the corner of his eye, he swore he could see something, or someone, move. What ever it was, it knew what it was doing, using the shadows as a cloak. Hidden, using the darkness as a friend.
Little did the brunette know, the thing in the shadows carried about a shiny pistol, that shined when the moonlight hit it. I'll intentions that involved Jay. Now all he had to do was wait.
He hoped that Jay would lead him to Tim, maybe if he waited long enough he could get two birds with one stone. Or - well, bullet in there case...
As Jay's flashlight hit another room, a faint creak was heard from behind the man, spinning on his heels, almost dropping the flashlight.
Jay wasn't prepared at what his light source would land on. He felt his blood run cold, his breath sharped, as if he had forgotten how to breath in the presence of what he would personally describe as "The Devil Himself"
As soon as he remembered how to function, and he could form words, he opened his mouth to respond.
"A-Alex?"
Jay couldn't help but stutter, his blue eyes focused on the look in Alex's eyes...it wasn't the Alex he knew. Not anymore.
Jay couldn't help but look down at the taller mans hand, and yet again, his blood ran cold again, as Alex pulled the silver pistol.
Jay didn't know how to react...but who would? Getting a gun pointed at you isn't the best feeling in the world, after all...
After getting no reply from the taller male, and instead fixing his glasses, Jay decided to repeat himself, getting the stutter under control.
"Alex!-" Jay's world suddenly came to a halt. Or that's what it felt like.
As he heard the gun shot, his instinct was to shield his face, he didn't understand why, but as soon as he done it, he regretted it.
As he held arms in front of his face defensively, a painfully hot nip shot through his left side.
As Jay tried to wrap his head around what had just happened, he slowly stumbled backwards, almost tripping over his own feet, his hand gripping onto his side, trying to apply pressure as his blood fell onto the floor.
The brunette lifted his hand, his mind was fuzzy and his vision was blurry, head spinning as his eyes widened in shock, panic...
A sense of adrenalin shot through the boy, quickly taking off into a room to the side, his blood trailing, slamming the door with the little strength the brunette had left, jamming the door shut with his shoulder before letting out a cry of pain.
His bleeding got worse, just like the headache he was getting. Maybe it was because of Alex's loud banging, screaming for Jay to let him in. Maybe it was because of how much blood he was losing, and if he lost anymore he was going to die.
No doubt about it.
Jay slid down the door, landing on his ass and letting out a groan, looking up.
Static.
As he thought more, the static got worse, almost enough to block out Alex's yells to let him in.
All he could do now is hope Tim would somehow find him...
Please Tim.
Jay decided to sit the camera down, it next to him, lifting up his t-shirt.
Yes, it was really bad....
A couple more minutes went by, the man on the other side of the door tells died down, well enough for Jay to notice.
He couldn't help but sigh, managing to get himself off of the ground and attempting to open the door.
Jay would have guessed Alex would have at least loosened the door a little.
But the door didn't budge.
Jay's face somehow dropped more at this, this couldn't be happening. Not now.
He really had screwed himself over...
He decided to try a second time...then a third time. And a forth.
Fift-
And with that, the door swung open, letting out a loud squeak as it had. It echoed through the Halls.
Well, if Alex was still here, he would have definitely heard that. The brunette decided to get out of Benedict as fast as he could. He had forgotten the camera back in the room, he decided his safety mattered more than the camera. Or so he thought and he got back to the stairs, before letting out a groan and limping back to grab it.
As soon as he did, he checked his pockets, looking for his phone. He could call an ambulance, but the sense of panic started to rally up again as he checked his front pockets, and back pocket until he pat his right side.
Almost immediately, he let out a sigh of relief, pulling the phone out and as quickly as he could he typed 9-1-1.
Jay got to getting the ambulance, explaining in horrible detail where he was before passing out, hitting his head against the stairs in the process. And the last thing he heard was the footsteps and a cock of a gun, who he could only assume was the one and only...
