16: Shut up and Just Hug Me

It was another morning and another Steve-Tony stroll in the city. Eversince, Steve had come out of the ice and into this unfamiliar world, Tony had taken it on himself to get him well-acquainted with the surroundings and the cities. Today, they were out and about in Malibu.

"So, Capsicle, there's an art museum around here. You maybe wanna go?" Tony asked Steve as they bought themselves their personal favourite Starbucks.

"Uh, yeah, sure. If you think so" Steve was still a little hesitant towards everything.

Tony was the only thing keeping him from going insane. Tony. Tony. Tonyyyyy. The man he's ever so slowly started falling for eversince, he first saw him. Eversince, he first got to know how Tony saved him. Tony. The man that had helped him overcome all of his fears in this new era. Tony. The man that was helping him sleep after every nightmare and waking up right besides him to let him know he'd be there throughout. Tony. The man he had ever so effortlessly fallen for.

"Cap, will you loosen up a little bit?" Tony stopped in front of Steve giving him a look. The look.

"I am trying. I promise" Steve gave him an earnest smile. A smile that made Tony's insides flip.

Yes, Tony was equally in love with Steve. But, not since recently rather, he had a crush on Steve eversince, Howard, his father had started boasting about the Super Soldier. Tony had found himself growing fond and fond of the old man. Had he known, he would be meeting Steve later in the future under such circumstances, he would have been more prepared. Now, he just sat back to be the hopeless, lovestruck man he was. Helping Steve out with anything or everything. Especially, helping him adjust. And Tony, would be lying if he said the help was only been given one way. Steve, Steve was his therapy, the best form of it. He encouraged Tony to be a better, stronger person, to be more responsible and more giving. With Steve around, Tony just found himself becoming better in so many ways.

"Alright. Let's walk then. It's not too far away and i'm sure your super body needs some exercise" Tony joked as they started walking down the pathway.

"Yeah, sure. And I bet, your meek limbs would be face flat before epwe even reach there" Steve snorted as Tony looked at him feigning mock hurt. Steve just pushed him forward to keep moving.

"You know, Cap" Tony started "You should start giving me a little bit more credit and love" Tony spoke as Steve saw what somewhat felt like hurt and dissapointment.

"Hey,Tony! You know that I joke around you with all of this, right? I would never mean even a single insult I'd throw towards you. You mean too much to me. I am indebted to you" Steve's voice was sincere and concerned.

"Steve!" Tony let out a laugh "You took it to the heart? I ws just messing around with ya!" Tony laughed even more as Steve just shook his head "Let's go from this alley. It's easier" Tony beckoned them into a dark alley. All the while, his heart stuck to Steve's words as he stole glances at him. Indebted? Is that all why Steve is so kind to Tony?

Just as they were both messing around one another and  making their way out of the alley, a group of large, bulky men stopped them. They looked at the group, confused.

"Hello. How can we help you?" Tony stepped forward as the other guy snorted. Steve stepped behind Tony, coming in view as a protective stance.

"Maybe, help me with my horny dick, sweetcheeks" The older man stepped forward hovering over Tony's small frame. Tony just looked at him bewildered.

"Do I look like a whore to you?" Tony gave him a pointed look as he continued "Find yourself someone like your own kind to rub that sick of yours. Now, move before you regret it" Tony's voice was icy, fierce and overpowering. Even Steve had to look twice at him to confirm it was him speaking.
