20: Brutal Beginnings

A/N: This is gonna be a whole lotta recap of the First Avengers movie where Loki was the villain. But I'd be mainly highlighting the #Stony scenes and how slowly their opinions on each other changed over the course of a single mission and the first one to be precise. This is going to be more of a realistic one.

"You need to step back" Nick Fury stepped towards Dr. BANNER.
"Why shouldn't a guy let off some steam?" Tony pushed a hand over Roger's shoulder but was brutally pushed back away.
"You know damn well why not, so back off!" Steve yelled at Tony.
"Oh I'm starting to want you to make me" Tony gave Steve a calculating gaze. His eyes are beautiful, Tony thought.
"Yeah. Big man in a suit of armor. Take that off and what are you?" Steve's words were menacing, hurtful and disgraceful but Tony sassed back anyway.
"Genius. Billionaire. Playboy. Philanthropist" he looked at Steve while Natasha nodded impressed at his reply.
"I've seen guys with none of that worth ten of you. I've seen the footage. The only thing you really fight for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play. To lay down on the wire and let the other guy crawl over you" Steve's voice was cold.
"I think I'd just cut the wire" Tony suggested.
"Always a way out" Steve smirked "You know you may not be a threat but you better stop pretending to be a hero"
"A hero? Like you? You're a laboratory experiment, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle!" Tony was done listening to his insults.

On the other hand, Clint, the one that was hypnotized by Loki, had just dropped down to raid into the S.H.I.E.L.D submarine. He shot an explosive arrow right in the air that twisted according to wind oressure and landed perfect on the ship. Damn your skill, Clint!

"Put on your suit. Let's go on a few rounds" Steve smirked at Tony who was just super angry at this point. As much as Steve didn't wanna admit it, he somehow found Tony really goddarn attractive and pissing him off wasn't something he wanted to do, it just happened. Steve was never the one to start a fight. He was jsut really angry in the moment and Otny ahd just intruded when he had to get his heat off, becoming a target of it.

They heard Thor laugh "You guys are so petty and tiny" Thor laughed more as Tony wiped a hand over his head calming his nerves as he spared another glance at Steve to see him looking at Banner.

"Agent Romanoff, kindly escort Dr Banner to his room" Fury guided but was shut up when Banner heated up and told them how he tried to put a bullet in his own body but it was spitted out by The Hulk and how he wanted to stay back, and be a nice guy but they dragged him here all over again. Just then, the Energy in the helicarrier blew up as Clint pulled off the trigger that caused the arrow to blow up and half the ship exploded.

Steve fell right down with Tony as they both stood up looking at each other.
"Put on the suit" Steve said helping Tony up.
"Yup!" Tony said back moving out with him.

While they were on their way out, Nick contacted with Agent Hill who told them that their engine was off, and they needed someone to fix it. Fury handed the job over to Tony who agreed. Clint on the other hand, jsut got inside the helicarrier.

"Engine 3. Go. I'll be there" Tony nodded at Steve who rushed away as Tony went to one of the stores in the helicarrier to get his suit.

On the other hand, Bruce had turned to Hulk and was running after Natasha while Loki smirked menacingly when he heard his roar. Steve already reached the Engine 3.

"STARK!" Steve was yelling "Stark, I'm here!" Steve was almost going to cry if Tony wouldn't have arrived. He was panicked, in a rush, confused and the only sane thing on his mind right now, was Tony Stark.
"Good. Let's see what we've got!" Tony flew out in his suit as he looked around to find visible debris stuck in the engine's main server. Steve just stood there for a minute admiring how beautiful Tony's suit was. Tony instructed Steve to head inside to the power system and tell him about it. Steve rushed inside and pulled out the mother board, sighing confused.
