Whilst away on a mission with the avengers in Mexico, Peter was involved in an accident after being thrown at a wall by a creature that was genetically modified. Peter was unconscious and he returned home to be put into an induced coma. He wakes up after a few weeks asking to see uncle Ben, Peter is also unaware of his powers.
