"Come on, baby, time to get up," Jug says to Valerie quietly, gently shaking her awake. Her tired eyes open and she starts to smile when she sees him. He smiles as well.

"Where's mommy?" she asks, not moving from under the covers.

"Mommy's eating pancakes in the kitchen," he says which gets her moving with a huge smile. She stands up on the bed and stretches her arms out to get a lift to the kitchen. He chuckles and picks her up, giving her a kiss on her forehead. "You want pancakes too?" he asks.

She nods with a big smile. "With cherry."

"Cherry jam?" he asks. "Do we have that?"

She nods. "Mama bought it."

He chuckles and enters the kitchen with her downstairs. "Morning baby," Betty smiles, eating pancakes with syrup.

"Morning," Vallie smiles as Jug straps her into her booster.

"Honey, these pancakes are amazing," Betty tells Jughead, who smiles at that.

"Jones family recipe. The best thing my dad has thought me."

"Hm, could I learn that?" Betty smiles.

"Maybe if you become a Jones," Jug smirks sneakily, making Betty roll her eyes as she rolls the jam pancake together for Vallie.

"About someone becoming Jones..." Betty says and Jug raises his eyebrows. "The test answers came back positive. You're officially related by blood with this girl, and they sent some papers for us to fill up to register her as your daughter. They also want to know what her family name will be and if we wanna change it."

Jughead breathes out softly, sounding like a big sigh, and he looks at her. "Whatever you decide, I'm fine with it."

"Jug," she frowns. "I'm not the only parent anymore, I can't make these decisions by myself."

"Oh come on, Betts," he chuckles, but she just shakes her head at that, waiting for an answer. In a few minutes he smirks and looks at her. "I wouldn't mind changing it." She grins at his answer. "What about you?"

"Mhm, I'd like that," she smiles.

"Daddy," Valerie whines.

"What baby, I'm driving?" Jug sighs and then suddenly freezes. Betty giggles next to him, on the passenger's seat, heart full of love for the two of them. Vallie had whined two times already, calling him Juggie as usual and now Jug reacted automatically even when she called her daddy. He's creeped out by himself.

"When are we there?" she whines.

"In 10 minutes," he says, still in shock from the way his daughter addressed him.

"Are you sure?" Valerie asks skeptically, making the two on the front seat smirk now. "I'm hungry."

Betty smirks. "Yup, definitely yours," she says under her breath to Jug, making him laugh and then turns around to face Valerie. "Daddy says he knows a place where are the best burgers and milkshakes in a world, we'll be there in ten minutes."

Jughead smiles. "Well, I have to agree, the milkshake that Arch brought me from Wally's was good."

"Ew, that was warm," Betty says. Jughead raises his shoulders a few times, making her roll her eyes with a smile and look out of the window again.

In a few minutes, they're in Riverdale. Betty looks over to Jughead again, who is still smiling, but also looking around excitedly to see familiar faces. He hasn't been here in his home town for a bit more than a year. Betty's nervous to meet his friends, but can't wait to see FP again, since he was so nice to her during Christmas.
