we are all fighting
for a chance
to fall
kiss
roll over in bed
cuddle in tight to a
somebody.
why do we yearn
for another heart
in order to believe
we have value?
we believe we must earn
love
that this art is far too precious to just
fall into
and this admiration
dedication
fixation
is what makes us something.
but please
be a well worth it,
precious heart beating
soul
before you let your value be
tagged to another's.
