Chapter 10

   I wake with Banjeom nudging my hand "what is it boy?" I ask checking on Joon who is awake but quiet.  I touch his cheek and the image of his father comes to mind.  He is being shouted at by the ministers.  "Second leave five guards here, everyone else get ready to go to his Majesty.  I'll be out in a minute" I get up dressed strap my knives on, put my bow and arrows across my back then tie Joon on my front. I also strap on some stars to my arm and leg I have my altered outer clothing on as I can move better with them on.   I also strap my sword on to my side.  "Ri-na lock this place uptight.  Let no-one in unless it's me or his Majesty" I order.  I go to the courtyard "how many heads do we have?" "150 your Majesty" Second answers. "The ministers have turned on the King.  I will not stop until they've stopped if that means killing everyone of them after what I've seen today, I'll do it.  If you don't agree with me then you don't have to follow me" I pause to see if anyone has anything to say when they don't, I carry on "I want fifty of you to surround the main courtyard let no-one enter I mean no-one.  I want twenty to aim your arrows from the roof's around the courtyard.  10 will climb up onto the main palace building and show yourselves with your bows drawn.  The rest will walk with me through the middle of the ministers if any of them make a move towards me or yourselves cut them down.  If you spot their dominant hand then cut them along the inner wrist if possible.  I will do anything to reach the King and give him my support in quelling this upraising.  They call me a witch because I have a deep connection to the people I care about and can sense when they are in trouble.  If you agree with them you can leave now, I will add that I would do the same for anyone of you if you where in trouble and needing help so would the King" I wait then I give the order to "move out." Second takes charge in creating the units I want. "The signal to start shooting is two short and one long whistle" I hear Second say.  The unit that will follow me wait while the others get into place.  We can hear the minister's shouting and arguing.  Second nods and I take the lead and march in through the main gate.  The ministers don't even realise I'm there till I start pushing them a side.   

   Most ministers move and make way when they see the number of men behind me. "You are the problem here" one yells and moves forward.  I stop Second from stopping him. When he charges at me, I wait then side step and hit him at the base of his neck and he falls to the ground.  I see another moving his hand behind him and I throw a star into his shoulder I give the nod and a guard goes over to him and pulls the knife he has in the back of his belt out and tucks it into his own.   I see a minister fall down with an arrow in his back the knife he holds falls to the floor as he does. "You can't do this?" another minister shouts I look over at him and smile. "Minister Rou, you like to fuck little boys and then have them killed so they can't tell anyone about it" I say as I continue moving forward, "how do I know this because you didn't manage to kill all of them properly?" I continue he blusters and stutters and looks at the fellow ministers now moving away from him.  I nod and a guard goes and pushes him to his knees with his sword to his neck.  "What is the fundamental law of being a court minister?" I ask as I still walk forward at a leisurely pace, "now they've shut up. Not one of you know?" I ask "to up hold the rules of the court and have the citizens best interests at heart.  As well as being an up-right citizen" a young minister answers "Correct go and stand next to the steps.  If you are a new minister that has only been a member of court for the last three months or less you can join him at the steps. The rest of you on your knees NOW!" I order some obey immediately most of the elder ministers don't as I knew they wouldn't. "Minister Guo you beat your wife and children and starve them while you get fatter and fatter and why? I'll tell you why, you're so fat and have such a small pecker that you haven't been able to have sex for years.  You're so fat that you can't even get a hand job now because no-one can find it.  You smell of piss all the time because you can't get your hands around to hold it so you just pee.  Should I go on?  I could tell Minister Pike that it was you that killed his wife when you fell out of the sedan the poor pole bears could hardly lift you from the floor.  You crushed her and then said a man on a horse had run her down, or the money you've stole from your other minister's over the years.  You put the blame on Minister Buns son" he falls to his knees.  I nod and a guard stands over him his sword to his neck.  Ministers Kie, Don and Gong "you like to share women with each other which would all be well and good if the women you shared had agreed before hand. Most once used by all of you are thrown in the river. Minister Kie and Dong are now addicted to drugs their poison is opium and steal from the palace to pay for the habit.  I see Don shift his weight and flip out my hand and a star slices into his chest.  The other two ministers kneel and guards hold all of them kneeling with swords at their neck.  A few more ministers kneel "to later minister Rok, you have been spying on the elite guards and making fake guard uniforms.  Have I mentioned your illegal gambling houses that you use as a front to hide your slave trade business?   You have also kidnapped and sold a few of the ministers' children.  I believe they suspected what you where really up to" he is also held by a sword to his neck.  There are only two still standing "Minister Shu and Minister Ai you've both been in the court for over 15 years. You think the rules of the palace no longer apply to either of you.  You couldn't be more wrong.  You have both killed monarchs and placed puppets on the throne.  How do I know this? It's written in the palace records? I won't mention the long list of crimes you have against you.  As I've mentioned I'm the one that will have you killed." The older of the two pulls a sword from under his robe. "In two please Second" I say and Second walks towards him dodges the first swing and slices his sword across the minister's midsection. Then turns and slices through the back of his neck. He puts his sword away as the minister falls to the ground.  I see minister Ai run towards Seconds back.
