PROLOGUE
EOTILE WAS SUFFERING.
Close to collapsing was more accurate, really, but that was difficult to think about. Eotile had been the home of so many for such a long time, that the curse that seemed to be spreading all through the land was something that was taboo to even mention.
Unfortunately, even in the small village of Ciel, a young couple and their small family would not be spared. Knowing that escape was the only option, they made plans to flee - to buy themselves some precious time, away from the deadly disease.
It was that same day that the first child was killed.
