Superman's Daughter (Young Justice Fanfiction)

Prologue

*Kathleen P.O.V*

being a blind girl, is not easy. my father Clark Kent A.K.A Superman is the one who taught me how to identify person is their heart beat. he told me that mother died of giving birth to me, father told me that I have the same apperance like her except my eyes are red represent that I was blind. all of the Justice League is looking for this person who cursed me and find someone who could break it. sometimes, my father would ask Wonder Woman to take care of me or the League.

sometimes I always wonder, what does it feels like to see the world instead of imagining things? when will I get my sight back again? instead of having a vision, ability to see the past,present and future.

father told me that my powers are exactly like my mother except the super hearing. he taught me how to control my powers and now, I fully mastered it.

I help my father to beat those bad guys and he gave me the codename Athena. why he give me that nickname? I have the wisdom and good at strategist and the Justice League agree of it since I'm look like her. Athena the Goddess of War and Wisdom.

right now I'm staying in the house and father is working on the news paper. I'm staying here with our wolf named Ken. I also understand animals talking including the nature.

I sense that my father is already arrived, he said "Kathy and Ken I'm home!" I fly amd hug him

I replied "welcome back father, how's your work?" he chuckled and I can feel his lips on my forehead then we pull away each other

"everything is fine, Kathy and tomorrow your going to meet everyone in the hall of Justice"

"everyone? what do you mean?" as I tilt my head

"tomorrow you are going to meet Kid Flash,Robin,Speedy and Aqualad"

"including their mentors!" in a happy tone

"yes and they miss you for not visiting in the Watch Tower" I pout and turn aroumd

"that's because you were busy and over protective on me in case I get lost, even though I know teleportation" as I sulked

I could feel that my father hug me behind and place his head on my head

"I'm worried about you Kathy, I lost your mother and I couldn't bear to lose you as well"

I place my hand on his hand and squeeze it gently. even though I'm blind, I could still feel where my father hand's place around me

"father, I understand. it's normal that the father will get worried of his child. please bear in mind that once I grow up I'll make my own decision and your going to support me"

I turn around to face him. I know that I'm blind but, I could feel that my father is looking at me

"I know, I love you so much Kathy and it's killing me if I lose you"

I raise my hand so he could hold it then he grab my arm gently

"you won't lose me father and I love you too" I smile at him gently

*Superman P.O.V*

I love my daughter so much, ever since my wife, Kathyrn died because of Darkseid and my daughter almost died.

She doesn't know what happened and I know that someday that Kathy will understand. why I keep this secret from her. we promise each other that both of us will never keep a secret but, I broke the promise. I really hope that Kathy will understand.

right now, Kathy, Ken and I are eating

Kathy said "father, did you already find a way to make the curse disappeared?"

I shook my head slightly "not yet Kathy" Ken whimpered and I pat his head

"oh" she look down

"don't lose hope and I'm sure that the curse will be gone Kathy"

"I know is just that... being a blind girl is not easy and the whole Justice League and Wally West known as Kid Flash knows my secret. for some reason I was being burden to everyone" in a sad tone

"your not a burden to us, Kathy. your a special girl even if your blind, you keep on moving forward and help us to defeat them" as I stroke her head

"really?" she look up

"yes and your my sweet beautiful daughter" I hug her and she hug me back

Ken said "arf! arf!" both of us chuckled

Kathy said "come here too Ken your my favorite instead of Father" she joke

I replied "I'm hurt" I was pretend to be hurt then we laugh

Kathryn, I'm sure you are watching us in heaven and happy that our daughter is sweet and loving child

*Kathleen P.O.V*

Wally and Barry are the one's who take care of me. my father is having a mission while I was hanging out with them

Wally said "Kath! are you excited for tomorrow!?" I chuckled and shook my head

I replied "I am and at the same time I feel nervous as well"

Barry said "their is no need to be nervous Kathleen besides your going to meet the others minus Wally"

Wally said "at least I know Kath! and she's my adorable little sister" he kissed my cheek and I giggled

"yeah, yeah and you will be in charge of taking care of her since the Justice League will be busy"

I replied "I can protect myself too and Wally can't guard me around 24 hours"

Wally said "she's right and besides Kath is not a helpless child. I wonder if their is another girl in our team" he whispered the last part and I smack his head. even though I'm blind I could still fight

"and then flirt with them"

"ow! your hurting me!" he whinned and I roll my eyes

Barry said "she has super hearing Wally don't forget that"

I replied "he will forget if I cook something" I shrugged

Wally said "your a great at cooking Kath! and besides, it's hard to imagine that your blind" he pat my head and I roll my eyes

Barry said "she is a special girl and no one should know about her curse, understood?" if one of them knows about the curse. who knows what will happend

"understood" and I nod

"good, I have to go. Wally take care of her"

"I will" I could feel that Barry kiss on my forehead and he run away quickly

I told Wally "does everyone knows that Superman is my father?"

Wally said "Aqualad,Speedy and Robin knows that you are the daughter of Superman"

"about my blind?"

"they didn't but they didn't see your appearance" he pat my head

"please don't tell them about my blind, Wally" as I plead on him

"I can't promise anything Kath... besides they are my closest friend and believe me, they won't tell your secrets"

I sigh and look down

"Wally.... just don't okay? I don't want anyone think of me as a fragile girl"

I could feel his hand on my head

"if they do...... I'll beat them for messing my younger sister" I chuckled and I could feel Wally hug me

"even though were not blood related.. I'm happy you think of me as your younger sister" as I smile myself

"I will protect you and help how to break the curse"

"thanks I really appreciated it" we pull away each other

"your always welcome Kath" he hold my hand and squeeze it gently as I squeeze it back

I wonder what will be their reaction of they saw me in person tomorrow? will they accept me?
