Shane's POV
I hate when Joeys goes out to these senior college meetings. I get so bored not having him home. I usually do three things, excessively clean our room, watch reruns of the Voice, and text Joey.

Today though something was weird Joey wouldn't answer his phone. He usually texted me throughout the whole thing. Maybe one of his teachers caught him.

I walked downstairs to the tv and started up the voice Marathon. I couldn't stop thinking that there was something wrong with Joey so I continued texting him. When I was about to send him the 5th text he burst through the door soaking wet.

He looked scared, nervous, and cute all at the same time. But he also looked cold so I ran upstairs and got him some towels and fresh clothes.

When I returned he was drying his hair with a dish towel. He turned his head and looked at me longingly.

I walked over to him and planted a kiss on his wet forehead.

Shane: Hey babe here's some towels and dry clothes go change

He kissed me on the cheek nodded and left.

I walked to the window and looked out, our driveway was flooding and Joey had parked my truck at the end of the street. Why did he park so far it would of just got him more wet? It was storming outside what was he thinking? Why was he home so early? All of these questions did not change the fact that I thought something was wrong.

I heard the blow-dryer upstairs so I sat on the couch and turned off the voice. About 5 minutes later a fresh and dry Joey came slowly walking down the stairs.
