To the Moon

I know that someone out there

A someone far away,

Should know that I do care

And I will fare...

I just want to see that

Once in  a velvet blue moon

I just want to chat,

Not make my life so flat.

My friends think I am crazy,

Just talking to the moon

But they just can't see

Just can't see...

When the lonely stars 

Light up my room

I just lie by myself

Just talking to the moon

Just trying to talk to you.

I hope you're on the other side

Talking to it too, to talk to me.

Just quit trying to hide.

I don't think I am crazy,

But when I see a star streak from my room,

I know that you are talking too,

You are talking to the moon.....

I wanna talk to you...

Just pour my little heart out

Tell you all the little things

You know nothing about.

Once in a soft blue moon

I see from my window pane

You will take my satin heart

And ease away my pain.
