You were the blessing
That came from the rain
Droplets that filled the grassy floor
And the dewey leavesYou were the epitome
Of great dexterity
Yet
The pinnacle of
The highest form of uncertaintyYou gave me fire
And freed me from despair
You walk in flame
Burning with verdant emotionsYou were there
Igniting and liberately
Enjoying the company of air
As your flame ascend higherAudacity came with you
Or so you always bear
Yet you didn't quite brief me
That you also took the flameIt burned
And it touched me
It was hot
And so was I hurtIt was unprecedented
Just like our meeting
It was quick
But surely it stayed and was direThe thing is
I'm thankful that the pain
Stayed
Because you didn'tAt least there is
Something which reminds me
That you brought flame in my heart
Even if you were the reason it was doused
