I want this chapter to be written in first person, and it's all about a shadow named Rose. Rose has been taught to keep her powers a secret from everyone, and she's always been very careful about not getting too close to anyone. She's always kept her heart guarded, and she attends a college for social work during the day.

But despite her best efforts, Rose still finds herself struggling with the pent up frustration that her shadow gives off. She's constantly looking for ways to release this frustration, and she's always trying to keep her emotions in check. It's not an easy life, but it's the only one she knows. there will be a lot of conversation between Rose and her shadow. Her shadow is always there, lurking in the background, and she can never escape it. But despite the fact that she wants to distance herself from her shadow, she can't help but feel drawn to it. It's a strange and complicated relationship, but it's all she has.

Recently, Rose has been having dreams about a man named Jack. He's got hair as white as snow, and his shadow is always hidden, but it gives off a strong sense of power. Rose doesn't know what to make of these dreams, but they're starting to make her feel uneasy. She's always been good at keeping her emotions in check, but these dreams are starting to get to her.

Chapter 3: The Shadow and the Dream

I can feel my shadow's presence always lurking in the background, no matter what I do to try and distance myself from it. It's always there, haunting me with its powerful energy, and I can never escape it. I've always been taught to keep my powers a secret, and to never let anyone get too close to me. But despite my best efforts, I find myself drawn to my shadow, as if it has some sort of magnetic pull that I can't resist.

I attend college during the day, studying social work and trying to help others in need. But at night, I'm left alone with my thoughts and my shadow. It's a strange and complicated relationship, one that I've tried to understand and come to terms with, but I've never been able to fully grasp it. I try to keep my emotions in check, but it's not an easy task when my shadow gives off so much pent up frustration.

Lately, I've been having these dreams about a man named Jack. He's got hair as white as snow, and his shadow is always hidden, but it gives off a strong sense of power. In my dreams, he's always trying to reach out to me, to connect with me in some way. But I can't help but feel uneasy about it all. I've always been good at keeping my emotions in check, but these dreams are starting to get to me.

One night, as I lay in bed, my shadow starts to speak to me. "Rose, I can feel your unease about these dreams. But I want you to know that I'm here for you, always. You don't have to face this alone." I'm surprised by my shadow's words. It's rare for it to speak to me directly like this. "What do you mean?" I ask, unsure of what it's trying to say.

"I mean that I can help you. I can guide you through these dreams, help you understand what they mean. You don't have to be afraid of them, Rose. You have me." I'm hesitant to trust my shadow, but at the same time, I'm desperate for answers. "Okay," I say, cautiously. "What do I need to do?"

"Close your eyes, Rose. Focus on your breathing. Let your mind relax. And then, let yourself fall into the dream." I do as my shadow says, closing my eyes and focusing on my breathing. I feel my body start to relax, and then suddenly, I'm transported into the dream.

I'm standing in a dark forest, the trees towering over me. I can feel a sense of unease in the air, as if something is watching me. And then, out of nowhere, Jack appears. He's just as I've seen him in my dreams, with hair as white as snow and a hidden shadow. "Rose," he says, his voice soft and gentle. "I've been waiting for you."

I can feel my heart pounding in my chest, unsure of what to do or say. "Who are you?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper. "I'm someone who's been watching you, Rose. Someone who's been waiting for you to awaken to your true powers." Jack's words send shivers down my spine. What does he mean by my "true powers"?

Suddenly, my shadow appears next to me. "Rose, don't be afraid. I'm here with you." I can feel my shadow's presence next to me, and it gives me a sense of comfort and security. "What do you want from me?" I ask Jack, feeling more confident with my shadow by my side.

"I want to help you, Rose. I want to show you what you're capable of. But first, you have to trust me." Jack extends his hand towards me, and for a moment, I'm tempted to take it. But then, I remember my shadow's words. I don't have to face this alone.

"I'm sorry, Jack," I say, taking a step back. "But I can't trust you. I don't know who you are or what you want from me. But I do know that I have my shadow by my side, and that's all I need." Jack looks disappointed, but then he disappears into the darkness of the forest.

I open my eyes, back in my bedroom. My shadow is still there, next to me. "Thank you," I say, feeling grateful for its guidance. "I don't know what I would do without you."

"Rose, you're stronger than you realize," my shadow says, its voice filled with pride. "You don't need anyone else to guide you. You have me, and that's all you need." And for the first time in a long time, I feel a sense of peace and contentment. I may not know what the future holds, but I know that I'll face it with my shadow by my side.
