It was a month after Ani and Henry started dating. The group was finally comfortable with it. Not like it was a choice, either way they were still going to be together.
Ani's POV
The last week of school. The group had our schedule planned out for the week.
Monday: Hangout at someones house
Tuesday: Ani's birthday. Hangout at the carnival
Wednesday: Day before prom. Make sure you have all your things ready.
Thursday: Prom day. Get an Uber or a car ride home then get ready. Meet up at Olive Garden
Friday: Last day of school. Carnival hangout
I was at my locker taking my things into my backpack. Since it's the last week we have to clean out our lockers today.
"Hey babe!" I heard from behind me with 2 arms being wrapped around my waist.
"Hello lover!" I said taking his hands from around my waist, turning around and laying a quick peck on the lips.
"You're turning 17 tomorrow! Are you happy my dear?" He asked me resting his arm on my head like an arm rest. Now that I think of it people always treated me like an arm rest because I'm short. I'm literally 5 feet. That is not THAT short.
"Obviously! We're going to the carnival tomorrow. And I get to go outside of my house." I answered.
My parents were still arguing. It doesn't really phase me but my Jinny is a wreck. She was crying almost every night. Her room is the closest to my parents room so she just slept in my room on my couch. I was pretty chill with it though.
"Finally found the love birds over here!" Alex told the group as they followed him through the hallways..
"Shut up Alex!" I giggled.
"So, who's turn is it for houses? It was mine turn last week." Charlie asked.
"I'm after red-head so I guess that it's my turn." Christina mocked Charlie.
"Red-head" I giggled in a mocking tone.
*time skip to them at Christina's house*
"So explain to me why Mr.Robinson had the nerve to try and call me out cause he thought I wasn't paying attention. My head was just on my desk!" Brandon squeaked out of anger.
Then I got a text from Jinny that kind of worried me.
Jinny👽: mom nd dad r arguing again. is it cool if u come pick me up
Ani🤡: o yea sure i'll go and get 1 of my friends to drive me there
Jinny👽: ok. can u hurry tho cuz theyre screaming
Ani🤡: ye im coming rn
"Hey can somebody drive me to my house to pick up my sister? She's kind of scared cause my parents are arguing." I asked.
"Yeah sure." Henry agreed.
We walked to his car hand in hand. It was pretty quiet until we pulled up at my house.
"Are you sure you wanna go in by yourself?" He asked in a concerned tone.
"I'm good. It's better if I go than a boy my parents are gonna act like they don't know go to my house to pick up my sister." I said in return.
