Chapter 5

Kinabukasan ay maaga akong nagising upang mag ayos, well, it is my first day on my work. I need to be fast finding my cousin in order to make my plan work. I know Brandon and his brother's and also my men is in my side but this mess is because of me, it was all my fault, because of me their lives is in the line of death. Pag baba ko ay napagpasyahan kong mag luto na ng aming agahan, even thou I am busy with this shitty stuffs, despite my lack of knowledge in cooking. I wanted to learn by experiencing it.

"SHAMARA!"nabalik ako sa wisyo ng biglang may sumigaw sa king likuran━it's Brandon and━

"OUCH!"I jolted back when I realized that I my apron is now on fire, I was too preoccupied that I didn't even notice that I am burning.

"Oh God Shamara!"he exclaimed while he is running towards me, mabilis ang kanyang mga kamay at sa ngayon ay hawak hawak na niya ang aking braso papunta sa sink. He then, immediately put off the fire in my apron.

"What are you thinking?! You see, muntik ka ng masaktan!"he shouted, oh damn, he sounds like a scolding husband now.

"I'm so sorry, I'm just preoccupied."it is my first time saying 'sorry' to someone without myself realizing it, Brandon got surprised as he heard me apologizing. Well, he must like minsan lang ako nagkakaganito.

"I━I━next time please huwag ka ng magluluto kapag madami kang iniisip."he said, I can see that he was a little bit hesitant while telling me those words.

"Yeah,"I mumbled stepping away from him, bukod kase sa napakalapit niya sa akin ay halos yakapin na niya ako dahil sa kanyang pag-aalala sa akin. I slowly walk beside him and continued cooking like there's nothing happened.

"Let me help you."deklara nito saka inayos ang mga kitchen utensils na aking kinalat.

"Ang aga aga mo atang gumising, may pupuntahan ka ba?"

"Yes, I need to start moving on finding Leon."sagot ko.

"I'll got with you, pwede rin nating isama sina Caden para mas mabilis tayong umusad."sabi nito, kung kaya't napatigil ako sa aking ginagawa.

"Don't hesitate Shamara, Achilles is a good tracker while Caden is an excellent hacker, if we all work together mas mapapabilis ang pag hahanap mo kay Leon."dagdag pa niya kung kaya't wala na akong nagawa kundi ang tumango na lamang, damn, 'yung plano kong ako lang dapat ang kikilos nawala na.

After we cooked, Brandon and I immediately ate, before we parted ways to clean and get changed. Pag baba ko ay naabutan kong bihis na bihis na ang tatlo, 'yung inaakala kong mas mahuhuli pa sina Caden at Achilles na mag ayos kesa sa akin ay nabaliktad na━dahil ako pa talaga ang nahuli kahit na ako ang maagang nagising.

"Let's go."Brandon said before we headed outside, sina Achilles at Caden ay napagpasyahang humiwalay sa amin habang kami naman ni Brandon ang magkasama sa kanyang sariling sasakyan. Achilles will lead us to the city while Caden will try to track Leon's location, while our men will be our eye in other possible locations that we assume Leon's place.

"Hindi ko alam mag sisimula, Philippines is a huge fucking place how can we track him when he's very vigilant and very mysterious mafia earl?"saad ko habang binabasa ang ilang dokumento patungkol kay Leon, he freaking identity is carefully hidden, ni wala akong makalap na kaunting impormasyon patungkol sa kanya kundi ang kanyang pangalan at ilang detalye lamang. Damn, is Mortem Princeps that powerful?

"Mortem Princeps are protected by The Trinity Crusades Empire along with Black Oculus and Underworld Legion, Leonhardth is the 9th heir of the empire and he was the most important person they needed to protect. That is why their organization is untouchable and powerful."Brandon said while his eyes were on the road.

"So your telling me mahihirapan akong hanapin siya?"

"Maybe yes or maybe no, may kakilala ka bang malapit sa kanya like his friends? Maybe we can track them first."Brandon answered, dahil sa kanyang sinabi ay napatingin ako sa mga papeles na nag kalat sa aking hita. I immediately search for some information regarding his comrades and━ voila!

"Hindi ko alam kung accurate ba itong isang 'to but there is someone named Jake Byrone Akaragi in his bio-data, mukhang isa siya sa mga kababata ni Leon."I said.

"Call Caden and Achilles, tell them about Jake and let them track his location."Brandon retorted, hindi na ako nagsayang pa ng segundo dahil mabilis kong hinugot ang aking cellphone mula sa aking bulsa at tinawagan si Caden.

"Caden, I want you to find the location of this man named Jake Bryrone Akaragi."bungad ko nga sagutin ni Caden ang kanyang telepono.

"Who is he?"Caden asked.

"He is Leon's childhood friend, we need to track him in order to know some information where is my cousin. He might lead the way to Leon."I mumbled.

"Okay, give me five minutes to find his data and site."he retorted.

"Sige, I'll wait."sagot ko rito bago ibinaba ang tawag.

"The possibility of him telling us where is Leon is very minimal, if he is happened to be Leon's friend he will maintain his loyalty even if I threaten him on the spot."giit ko kay Brandon.

"Well even so, we must still try to talk to him."

"Brandon, I want you to promise me one thing."sabi ko rito rason para mapasulyap siya sa akin.

"What?"

"Ako lang ang mag papakita at kakausap sa kanya, I want you together with Caden and Achilles to wait for me outside his location. I will not take 'no' answers from you because this is my decision and it is final."diretsong sabi ko sa kanya━I was shocked when he stepped on our car's break causing me to scream.

"What the hell Shamara! You can't just do that!"he exclaimed.

"I told you, this is my freaking decision and this is final!"depensa ko, napangiwi na lamang si Brandon at muling pinaandar ang kotse. He knows that if I said 'final' he cannot refuse anymore, he knows that he cannot win this argument when I made my final verdict.

'Cause this is my nature, a rebellious woman who doesn't fucking need to have a knight-in-shining-armor man to protect herself from anyone.
