Chapter 20

"That damn guy is giving me nuts! He is so arrogant━━gosh!"after we came home from the party all I did was to rant about that Hunter John Collins, like for the love of god if it wasn't for my shame that made me hide my fury━━malamang sa malamang kanina pa siya nakitang nakalutang sa ilog! My hands are trembling in irritation and anger, I am fucking pissed! Damn it!

"Sino ba 'yang kinaiinisan mo ha Shamara? This is the first time that you got easily irritated by some random guy?"tanong ni Grayson kung kaya't marahas akong napatingin rito. 

"Yeah fuck him, sino ba naman kaseng hindi maiinis sa kanya? Napaka-arogante niya!"mantakin mo 'yon? Our first meeting is freaking mess now it's the worst! Dios mio!

"Chill Shamara, want me to kill him?"gatong naman ni Achilles. 

"Yeah, pwede naman namin siyang ipatumba bakit ano bang pangalan 'non?"Caden mumbled. 

"He is one of Karlie's friend, the CEO of Collins Group of Companies and his name is Hunter John Collins. We first met at the cafe and to cut the story short, we had a very messy encounter."I told them.

"Calm down Shamara."Brandon mumbled, parang anong oras kase sasabog na 'ko sa pagkainis.

"You can't just kill him, he is Karlie's friend, right now what we need to do is avoid him so that Shamara and Hunter won't see each other again. "without myself knowing I slowly turned my gaze to Brandon. 

"The conflict between you and Hunter might bring us bigger problem if your paths cross again. I know you well Shamara, baka sa susunod na magkita kayo hindi na maganda ang kalalabasan."Brandon added, he was right, Brandon knows that I have a bad temper not mention impatient and violent. The last time that someone made me annoyed━━was in Morocco, a girl in a store who had this bitchy attitude got me pissed by splashing me water right into my freaking clothes━━I shot her dead without myself knowing, I got so angry to the point that I didn't even even think twice and killed her right in front of her manager. 

"Yeah, Brandon has a point, I think it is better if you just avoid him at all cost."saad naman ni Achilles.

"Fine, if that is really the best way for me not get pissed by HIM."nakasimangot kong turan.

It's our third week working at Mortem Princeps, time flies so fast that we didn't even noticed it. Sa loob ng tatlong linggong 'yon kahit papaano ay naging maayos ang lahat, our team work made a good impression to Leonhardth especially to Xact and Adlex that doubted us. Brandon and I  managed to secure our positions and gain the trust of the council. Although we still had so many things to do,━━nabalik ako sa aking wisyo ng biglang mag ring ang aking cellphone.

"Yes hello?"

"Shamara, I want you to be at my office at five pm, I want to discuss something."it was Leonhardth.

"Oh, right sige I'll be there."I said before we bid our goodbyes. Matapos kong ayusin ang aking mga nagkalat na gamit sa aking desk ay lumabas na rin ako sa aking silid at nag punta sa baba. As I enter the kitchen I saw Brandon cooking something kaya't nilapitan ko siya. 

"Ano 'yan?"

"Nandiyan ka pala,"he said while mixing something, probably some soup dahil medyo malabnaw iyon. I know this sounds so foolish but I━━I━━

"Curious ka? This is chicken soup with egg and mushrooms."magiliw nitong saad, yeah, it's a shame to tell you but I can't fucking cook. Like, ever since I was a kid I wanted to learn how to cook, sew, and even do the dishes but my mother doesn't want me to learn those things━━she forbid me to do household chores because she want me to focus on my training and in my duty being their heiress. But my dad got my back, kahit na hindi niya ako naturuan kung pano mag luto, he still manage to teach me how to do the laundry and iron my clothes. 

"I wanna learn how to cook Brandon."wala sa sariling nasabi ko ang mga katagang 'yon, Brandon smiled sweetly before he wipe his hands as he slowly pull me beside him. 

"I know your smart and fast learner Shamara, just watch me closely okay?"sabi nito. 

"I will cook sinigang for you, 'yan ang first lesson natin ngayong araw na 'to."dagdag niya. 

"Sounds good to me."I said, I got excited knowing that someone will finally taught me how to cook without my mom forbidding me. Brandon immediately took out the ingredients from the fridge and some condiments from the cabinet before we proceed. We are going to cook sinigang na baboy that is why I also need to learn how to cut meat and even vegetables.

"Grabe Shamara hindi naman tao 'yang pinapahiwa ko sa'yo bakit lasug-lasog na?"gulat na gulat na sita sa akin ni Brandon ng matapos kong hiwain 'yung baboy. 

"Eh kung ituro mo kaya sakin?!"I defended but he let out a small chuckle before he made his way behind me, I almost ran out of breathe as he held my hand and slowly guided me cutting the pork. I was in a state of shock because of what I am feeling right now, my cheeks started to blush realizing what is our position━━he is completely back hugging me!

"Brandon,"

"Watch closely, up, down, up down. Gently slide the knife between the loins and voila!"he mumbled, I couldn't help myself not to stare at his handsome face. Brandon is very charismatic and kind to me, like what I have said I know that he had this feeling towards me but I rejected him━━that sometimes I hate to admit I also regret that time I said 'no'.

"Ayan okay na,"hindi ko namamalayang nakalayo na pala siya sa kin habang binabalatan nito ang hawak niyang taro. I was too preoccupied by my love thoughts because of Brandon, paano kaya kung hindi ko siya riniject? What if━━Oh God Shamara! I shrug. 

Matapos akong turuan ni Brandon ay hinayaan niya akong mag timpla nito, he instructed me how this sinigang dish should taste after I put some condiments and luckily nakuha ko naman daw ang tamang lasa at asim. I am so proud that I could cook something like this, para sa susunod ako naman na ang mag luluto para sa kanila nina Achilles. 

Dahil sana sa susunod, sa susunod na turuan ako ni Brandon dapat nandito na si daddy. Sana.
