Ah-ri blinked a few times and the two only stared at each other for a few seconds.

A pretty lady and a jaded kid made a good sight, instantly healing anyone who would see them.

She also recovered after a while and treated it as nothing. "You... you like that flower?"

He looked at the destroyed painting again while shaking his head. "Dad likes 'em"

His sadness didn't escape Ah-ri's eyes so she changed the topic.

"Well, why're you here while the whole school's celebrating?"

"Dad won't attend these events."

She accidentally stepped on another bomb. Way to go, Ah-ri!

Sigh... Rich kids' drama.

"Little master, it's time to go home."

Ah-ri turned towards the voice.

A woman in suit had unknowingly approached them.

"Mi-miss Ah-ri?" The lady was puzzled to see the celeb here.

"Are you his guardian?"

Ah-ri stood up.

The lady hesitantly nodded. It was obvious that she was the female butler of the household but in this case, she could also be considered as his guardian.

"Can we talk for a minute?"

Ah-ri led her to the side and narrated the scene she arrived earlier.

As a concerned citizen, she should tell this to the guardian in the case they weren't aware that the child was being bullied at school.

"Many thanks, Miss Ah-ri. I'll make sure to report this to our family's masters immediately."

It was as Ah-ri predicted. They didn't know.

"No problem. I was a bit late though and didn't save his painting."

She scratched her chin awkwardly and the lady only bowed at her, saying thank you and farewell once again.

Ah-ri watched their retreating backs but she forgot something.

"Hey, little master!"

The boy glanced back at her who quickly caught up to them.

Offering her hand, she cheerfully said, "I'm Ah-ri! What's your name?"

The little master only looked up at her outstretched paw for a moment. The lady behind him uneasily shifted from foot to foot but Ah-ri ignored her.

"Rami."

The boy finally shook her hand once but it was actually just her index finger, then he swiftly turned around as if in fear of catching some sort of disease.

Ah-ri only found his reaction cute.

It was obvious the boy didn't know how to interact with a pretty big sis.

"Nice meeting my new friend Rami!" She teased while laughing.

The boy didn't look back at her but the tips of his ears turned beet red and he hastened his pace, almost twisting his chubby little legs along the way.

Ah-ri was starting to become busier.

She was supposed to have an album around Christmas and September already entered.

She wasn't satisfied with the several songs she had on-hand.
