Christian sat in his kitchen starring at the microwaves clock making sure he wouldn't be late.

He took off his coffee stained striped shirt and put on a all black shirt.

He sighed knowing it was a long shot as he pulled out his phone and texted a number he hadn't texted in 4 years.

Christian:
Mitchel?

He waited at the table patiently but he got bored and decided to fold some clothes.
He picked up the small pink shirt right as his phone buzzed catching his full attention.

Mitchel:
Christian?

Christian just starred at his name as if he'd never seen it before. He caught a glimpse of the time at the top of the phone and cursed under his breath as he grabbed his keys and headed to his car.

Mitchel:
Uh I was wondering if you
Wanted to meet at the old 24 hour
Pizza joint in 20 minuets ?

Mitchel:
But I completed understand
If you don't

Mitchel:
I really fucked up

Mitchel:
Okay you're probably busy
I'm just being annoying now sorry

Christian got into his car and put the key in the ignition but he checked the messages from Mitchel first.

He wanted to meet up with him but he had his hands full. He left him on read for the second as He pulled up in front of The daycare.

Christian:
Um I'm really busy
But if you wanted to come
Over to my house
I probably won't stop you

He slid his phone in his pocket and entered the colorful room.
"Daddy." A little girls voice squealed, He turned around and knelt down so he could pick up his 2 year old daughter.
"Have a nice day." The worker smiled as he nodded.

"Did you have a good day?" He questioned his almost three year old as he buckled her into the car seat.

"Yep we colored and made stuff out of macaroni, look I made you a necklace." She reached as far forward as she could to hand the male the macaroni jewelry she had made for him.
"Oh wow I love this so much, it's beautiful thanks babygirl." He Smiled into the review mirror to her as she smiled in accomplishment.

Christian was hesitant to check his phone but he did.

Mitchel:
Yuh sure text me the address
And I'll be there in 20 :)

Christian:
It's 55555 Los Angeles
Pinebrook rd

Christian:
See you then

Christian was beyond nervous.
"Daddy can I play Minecraft please." She begged pointing towards his laptop.
"Only for a little bit, and daddy's having a friend over okay." She nodded as she grabbed the piece of electronic and scurried off to her room.

"Fuck already." He looked at his watch for the time as the door bell rang.

"Uh hey Mitchel, come in." Christian said with no emotion in his tone whatsoever.

"Woah dude nice house, a little more uh family friendly than I'd like but still." Mitchel smiled and laughed a little bit and sat on the couch.
"Thanks, I had it custom built." Mitchels eyes widened as he nodded and satisfaction.

"So uh what have you been up too lately?" Christian tried to hold in his emotion but a voice crack escaped at the end.
"Just still working on music..." Christian cut him off. "Oh yah you're solo stuff it's really good." He Smiled as Mitchel smiled back at him. "Anyways how about you? You own a Prius." Mitchel laughed as Christian rolled his eyes playfully.
"Oh shut up it's a family car." He groaned. As Mitchels eyes widened.

"Wait, family? You're married?" He said with a monotone mostly because he hoped it wasn't true. All the feelings he felt four years ago were still there. Mitchel pushed them as far down as he could after the fight. But as soon he looked into Christian eyes they resurfaced.
"Uh no not married, still happily single." He chuckled.
"Than what do you mean by..." Mitchel got cut off.
"Hurry Daddy the laptop is gonna die where's the pluggy thing." A toddler darted our from the hallway as Mitchels jaw dropped.

"Here." Christian got off the couch and handed her the cord. "You only got a few more minutes on the laptop okay." Christian spoke firmly. "Alright." She said with a frown and ran back to her room.

"That's what I mean." Christian scratched the back of neck nervously.
"Your an actual Dad now." Was all he could manage to get out dude to his shock. Mitchel let his mind wonder back to Willow and Kayla's unborn baby it made his eyes glassed over.
"Yah Her name is Cally shes 2 but her birthday is in a month." Mitchel just sat there as Christian didn't return to the couch he headed into the kitchen.

"So you uh adopted her?" Mitchel got up and sat at the dinning room table.

"No not exactly, shes my Biological child." Mitchel didn't know what to say.
"Before you ask, Jane is the mom, or if you could even consider her that." He mumbled the last part as he started to prepare dinner.
"Wait holy shit you knocked up Jane." Mitchel shook his head a little in confusion.
"Sadly yup, but do I regret it, hell no that baby girl is my whole life." Christian said with a bit of anger in his voice as Mitchel just blinked slowly.

"What are those things on your head?" Cally Smiled up at the braided boy.

"No no nope, I'm sorry Christian." Mitchel stood up and walked quickly towards the front door.
"She reminds me too much of Willow, and I..." He couldn't complete his sentence before breaking down crying and leaving.

"Awe he's sad can I go give him a hug?" Cally peered up at her dad. "No not this time." Christian pauses as he took a deep breath and tried to fight back tears. "Go sit down dinners ready." He Smiled as he put a plate of spaghetti in front of her.
