Seventeen-year-old Waverly Lyons is from Vermont. She doesn't do sun. But after her divorced parents can't agree on who gets to have her for the summer, Waverly gets shipped off to Holden, Florida to spend a couple months with her aunt, Rachel.
There's one minor hiccup: Blake Hamilton, Rachel's seventeen-year-old neighbour. He's athletic, outgoing, arrogant, tan, and pretty much Waverly's exact opposite. She's eager to avoid him at all costs, hoping to fit in with the other kids in Holden without drawing too much attention to herself.
But when Blake discovers that Waverly has been hiding the rather embarrassing secret that she can't swim, he does the unthinkable.
He offers to teach her.

Float is one of my all time favourites. The author is also one of my favourite Wattpad authors.
It's an amazing book to read. The author did a really good job in letting their relationship develop and grow before the main characters got together.
I love Blake with all my heart, it's clear him and Waverly love each other. They have a really cute relationship and I loved reading their story.
I was pretty disappointed when I say it was a paid story now, because I can't get it anymore. If you are able to buy a story I would definitely recommend this one, it's by far one of my favourites.
Butttttt... it's also being made into a movie!! I'm super excited, Robbie Amell is going to star in it! If you don't know who that is he also plays Wes in The Duff, which is a movie I loveee!!!
PSA: this book was a Paid story but it ain't anymore! There is a new version that is a Paid story, but you are able to read the original version which is part of the same book on Wattpad.
