A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning
A lonely writer carrying themselves carefully, like glass
Series of dark thoughts play through their heavy hurting head
Of the sort that make you want to walk, bare feet, until the road ends
Unfortunate accidents wound them -
Events leading them here, one shoe in front of the other
The air surfaces memories of childhood and of simpler times
Bad weather causes the sprinkles of rain to fall, and the spiraling starts
Beginning to discard their shoes, dancing and walking the never-ending road.
Dear Fizz,
This is a written promise to you.
To write a page-long letter almost everyday,
Spilling my darkest secrets and remembering you, Fizzy.
Nothing I would ever tell another living human - but you're not alive.
How you haunt my thoughts, dear Felicité Grace Tomlinson.
I'm emptying my brain like it's a trash can
All the unwanted thoughts fly away
Into the pages of a green
notebook.
