chap. 1

Betty

I wake up and get dressed into a pink crop top and light blue ripped skinny jeans. I put on my pink lipstick and mascara. I put my hair up in a ponytail and look in the mirror. I sigh and pull my ponytail holder out.

I get to school and see some of the Serpents. Luckly the goulies don't go to Riverdale high they don't like being on the northside
Only the Southside. I walk over to them "Hey fangs" you say taking his jacket and putting it on. "What the hell are you doing?! Your undercover for the Goulies" he whispers. "They don't go here" i say he nods "I'm going to class! Muah" I say "hey my jacket!" fangs says "mine for the day" I say not turning around
I see a kid in my first hour. Its the first day of school so we get to pick where we sit for the first few weeks. I look at his back "Serepent" I read. "That's Jughead" Toni says I nod walking over to him. I sit down "hi" I say "I'm Betty" he doesn't answer. I sigh "I'm part of the Serpents. Never seen ya before." he looks at me "you? A serepent? Betty Cooper perfect girl? A serepent" he smiles "yes. Me. A serepent. I'm not perfect"

Its lunchtime and I'm sitting with sweet pea Toni fangs and jughead when veronica walks up. "Your a serepent!" she yells at me I look at fangs and winks. "Yes Vee, I am" I say smiling "why?! They deal jing-" I cover her mouth and stand up "You better shut your pretty little mouth before I sew it shut vee! Were in a fucking school, and we don't sell it some one else does, the Goulies!" everyone at there starts banging on the table and howling like dogs "Shut up guys! Only hot dog howls!" I yell they all shut up jughead smirks at me. I wave with my free hand "now, you can sit with us or leave" veronica pipes down and sits next to sweet pea people start yelling in front of me in the court yard "serepents suck" I walk up to him "say that to my face" I say. He starts stabbing me in the chest with his finger. "Serpents suck. And your just a serpent slut desparate to be queen because you know every serpant will want you then! Your just a good for nothing goodie goodie." I let him finish and right after I punched him straight in the jaw. He threw me against the wall face first my lip was cut my forehead was bleeding and my nose was bleeding. I looked at him
"Your a filthy bitch" I say punching him in the throat watching him fall Archie ran up "betty chill! It's Reggie" Archie says I walk up to Archie "he threw me against the wall Arch" he nods "hey slut" Reggie yells "yes?" I say He walks up to me smiling "you will never be serepent queen" he says punching me straight in the eye. I drop then all of his friends ganging up on me and start kicking and punching me while I'm down. They run off as Mr. Weatherbee walks up "Betty you okay?" I look up and nod standing up with cuts and bruises everywhere my forehead was the worst. It was bleeding a lot.
Vee and I go to the bathroom as I wash my face and all of my cuts off.

I go to p.e and into the locker room I get changed into a black crop top and black short shorts. I go into the gym and the first person I see, Jughead Jones.
I give fangs his jacket back and walk over to jughead "uh oh looks like betty found someone else to take their jacket from" sweet pea laughs "yea. Wanna bet they get together" fangs replies "I'd laugh" Sweet pea says
"Hey juggie" I say "hey Betts" Jughead says "Alright class were going outside!" the teacher yells Jughead starts to walk away as I grab his jacket off of him and put it on. "Hey that's mine" he replies going to grab it. I jump back "mine now" I say he smiles and playfully wraps his arm around me as we continue to walk outside.
We get outside and sit down on a bench and I grab his arm and wrapped it back around me "is the serpent queen gonna have a king?" sweet pea jokes "maybe if she plays her cards right" Jughead exclaims I smile and lay my head on his shoulder "it's more of if you play your cards right" I say "oh, I will" I hand jug my phone and he puts his number in. "Thanks" I say standing up. I smile at him and leave with his jacket "Hey V, Archie" I giggle "why you giggly" V asks "I got Jughead's number" I say pointing to jughead "but aren't you part of the goulies? you can't date a serpent" Veronica says "I'm not really part of the goulies, I'm actually part of the south side serpents, I'm undercover for Jughead well not Jughead but the Serpents more of Fangs and Sweetpea." I say, Veronica nods and looks at Archie "Well Archikins and I am gonna go jog for p.e see ya Betty" she waves as she runs off with Archie I go and sit with Jughead as he's  talking to the Serpents "Fangs I need to talk to you" I say "who is jughead to the Serpents?"
