INTRODUCTION

Many folks don't realize the heroes that fight for them on the daily, and perhaps it's best kept that way. For if they did, the enemies of the heroes would use that as ammunition to blow them away.
And the publicity would absolutely suck, to boot.
On the corner of Marigold and 14th, in a city not quite bustling like a Metropolis but busier than a regular small town, stands a two story building, aged in its paint and brick, with an obvious makeshift light-up sign that read, "THE BUSINESS". And inside, were the aforementioned heroes indeed.
Robert E. Samson is a former Army Ranger; his proficiency in marksmanship, field tactics, and Close Quarters Combat cements him as a lethal weapon.
David Allan Poll is a former agent of the FBI Intel Division, serving in Behavioral, Intelligence, and Profiling Analysis. His IQ is that of 170, and his bravery matched equally.
Together, they work in private detective/enforcement/security jobs, and are the best of the best, embodying the dynamic duo of efficient brains and brawn.
...it's too bad their adversaries turn out just as lethal, if not more so.
