Tina flung herself into Marcy's locker and sighed heavily.

Marcy eyed her. "So... how's it goin?"

Tina bubbled up with laughter. "I have a problem."

"I caught that."

"Sam doesn't want to go to prom."

"But he has to. Mr. Shue said." The New Directions were performing at prom.

"He says he can't afford to take me right so he doesn't want to go. I offered to pay but he won't hear of it."

"Men." Marcy rolled her eyes. "Well what's the plan for prom? Dinner, corsage, then dancing all night and pictures? That's easily doable."

"How? He doesn't want to do any of it."

"Well come over to our house for dinner. We'll drive you to the dance and home. Two problems taken care of right there."

"Okay. What about a corsage?"

"He can make you one. I can show him how. You don't mind fake flowers, do you?"

"Not at all. They last better."

Marcy grinned. "Good girl. Have your mom or dad pick him up and drop you off at our house two hours before the dance. And you can tell him to suck it up and let you pay for the pictures. Chivalry is dead for a reason."

Tina hugged Marcy. "I love pregnant!you!"

"You don't love me when I'm not pregnant?" Marcy blinked.

"Oh no! That's not what I meant!" Tina drew back.

Marcy poked her bottom lip out.

"I just meant you're even sweeter and that's a good thing. It's you plus." Tina hoped that that would make things better.

Marcy eyed her before smiling. "Thank you!"

Tina blew out a breath in relief. "Can you believe about Santana, Artie, Brittany and Finn?"

"As in can I believe that Brittany has been able to fool Finn even though everybody already knows? No, I cannot." Marcy shut her locker and started off down the hall.

Tina caught up to her and threaded her arm through Marcy's. "I know! This is not going to end well."

W.W.W.

"You're a really good cook." Sam said.

"Thank you." Marcy beamed.

"I like that it's light so we won't have to worry about being too stuffed to move but still really hearty so I'm full." Tina finished her soup.

"Soup, salad and breadsticks. Classic combo."

"What was the soup again?" Sam asked.

"Corn, black bean, chicken tortilla soup."

"And the salad was loaded. I've never put half this stuff in a salad before."

"Yeah, I like different fruits and veggies, meats, lettuce." She shrugged.

"But broccoli? Bean sprouts? What's that one stuff?"

"Radishes?"

"Yeah, those things! I've never had one before!"

"They're my favorite." She smiled.

"But you also had ham, salami and chicken. And bacon! Everything's better with bacon!"

"I think so."

"I liked the eggs." Tina smiled.

"I've never had green beans in a salad before. Or spinach and cauliflower." Sam went on. "Or that one stuff you said. That starts with an "A"?"
