Outside of Beacon... Near where Kix Will be teaching

”Why all the defenses?” Weiss asks. “To defend against Grimm. Mainly due to the fact our class is outdoors” (Y/N) replied. Then as the class walks towards the door, it opens. Then Kix walks forward. “Alright Class. Follow me ” Kix said “Now, Shall we begin?” The class nods. Kix throws a mannequin on the floor. “We will begin with basic medical knowledge. Now, someone is choking, they are unable to cough. What do you do?” “Why are we learning this? We are training to become huntsmen, not doctors. ” “Huntsmen are not the only heroes... Soldiers who put their lives in danger...Police who risk their lives trying to stop a armed criminal... Doctors who save the lives of others... You must understand, Huntsmen and Huntresses are not the only heroes.”

After that class, Johnathan POV

“Ah Teams RWBY and JNPR. Be more like JYLS and arrive early.” RWBY nods. “Now, We will be studying Grimm. But first about me as a boy”

After a few minutes

“While useless for the curriculum. Such an honorable life Professor” I say. “Who has the qualities of a huntsmen?” Weiss raised her hand and so did I. “Alright. Mr Nate, please come fi-” “I am sorry. But I believe Weiss should go first.” I say. “Thank you.” Weiss mouths.

After Weiss' Match

“Now Mr Nate, Where is your combat attire?” “The enemy never waits.” Then a Beowulf rushed towards me only to slow down. Then it ran back to its cage. “Do not allow fear to take over. Fight like the Alpha of the Pack you wanted yourself to be...” I say. I drop my weapons. “What are you doing?!” Weiss shouts. The Beowulf rushes to me and attempts to bite, and I move and it hits the wall. “Brute strength doesn't always win a fight.” I walk to the Beowulf with my sword and I raise my sword, and stop. “Do you surrender or will you accept fate? Either way, you fought“ well...” The Beowulf looks down, accepting defeat. Then the fur changes from black to grey and the bones slowly disappear. I then holster my blade. “You are released from the chains of being a Grimm...” I say in Latin. Then the former Beowulf, nods and follows me. “Well then... Class dismissed!” “Weiss! Why are you being s-” “You are supposed to be the leader! But you have only been a nuisance!”

1 Weiss/Ruby argument later cause I need to rewatch some episodes

“Ruby.” “I-Is it true? Did Ozpin make a mistake?” “He didn't make a mistake. He made a choice. It isn't just you. It is also your team. You don't have to change your attitude. A true leader is honorable, caring, kind, courageous and selfless ” I say. “I will talk to Weiss” i walk past Ruby.

Rooftop

“Weiss.” Weiss turns around. “What is it?” “May I speak with you?” Weiss sighs and nods. “Ruby was really hurt when you said those things to her” “Its just that... I think I should've been leader!” “With an attitude like that, No crusader would serve under you. Being leader doesn't mean to be all high and mighty. A true leader is honorable, caring, kind, selfless, and courageous... Ruby is all of these. Okay not so much honorable. But still.” Weiss bites her lip, knowing this is true. “Weiss. Ruby is 15. She is still learning. You can help her by being a good teammate.” I say. Weiss looks at me. “It will take time, yes. But be proud that you are with a team.” I say. Weiss nods, then walks past me. “Oh and Johnathan. Thank you.”

Weiss POV

“Ruby. How do you take your coffee?” ”Uhhhh...” Ruby thinks. “2 Sugars and Caffeine?” I nod. “And Ruby.. I always wanted bunk beds.” Ruby smiles.
