Chapter 2 The evidence

The Next day was like any other day to Hailey's family, but not for Hailey. Hailey barely spoke to her family during breakfast. Lilly; uh... Hailey are you okay. Hailey still said nothing. Lilly thought that Hailey hated her. Morgan; Hailey sweety are you okay. Hailey looked up but still didn't say anything. David; Im sure she's fine honey. He said to morgan. It was Tuesday and Hailey had to work that day. Morgan ; Hailey if you're sick you should call off work. Hailey finally spoke. Hailey; no, i can go to work today. Morgan; are you sure. Hailey; yeah im sure. Hailey went to work looking confused but curious at the same time thinking about what her and Billy saw at the Hawkins pool yesterday. Billy saw Hailey as she went in the girls lockeroom. Billy looked into the boys lockeroom to see if the rats where in their, but when he checked nothing was there. Billy tried to forget what happened yesterday by flirting with some girl at the pool just to make Hailey jealous. Billy; hey cutie. What's your name. He said to the random girl. Katie; my name is

Hailey looked over to see Billy flirting with another girl and all of a sudden she felt so sad and angry at the  same time, and she doesn't know why she feels that way. Billy couldn't stop staring at Hailey as she was flirting with Brandon he couldn't stand it so the girl he flirted with he just told her nevermind and walked over to Hailey as she twirls her long blonde hair. Billy walked over to Hailey. Billy; hey Hailey can I talk to you for a minute. Hailey; not now Billy. Im talking to hot guy right now. When Hailey said that Billy tried his best to hold in his jealousy. Billy; please, it's important. Hailey; fine. Hailey; I'll be back Brandon. She said in a flirtatious voice, trying to make Billy jealous. Hailey; what did you want want to talk to me about. She said in a firm voice. Billy; so did you wanna talk about what happened yesterday. Hailey; something is going on in this town and we are going to find out. Hailey; in fact I know someone that can help, but first lets tell our boss that where leaving early. Billy; but our boss doesn't let employees leave early. Hailey; trust me I have a plan. Well you see I in need to go to the doctors office, because im having a girl problem. Mr. Willis chocked on his donut as soon as Hailey said that. After Mr. Willis stopped choking on his donut he let Billy and Hailey leave early. Billy ; that was a good lie weird but good. Billy; your not really having a girl problem are you. He said with fear. Hailey; of course not. Phew, Billy said with relief. Back at home Lilly decided to meet the new neighbors she just so happened to find the Hargrove/Mayfield household. Lilly knocked at the door. Susan Hargrove was at the door. Susan;oh hello , are you one of Max's friends. She said to Lilly. Lilly; oh no im your new neighbor my name is Lilly. Susan; oh well it's so nice to meet you , come on in. Susan called max to come meet Lilly. Susan; Maxine I would like you to meet our new neighbor Lilly. Max; oh hello it's nice to meet you Lilly wanna hang out. Lilly; sure I would love that. Susan was surprised because Max usually isn't a people person. Max; Lilly i want you to meet my friend we call her El. Max and Lilly went to El's house to see if she wanted to hangout too. The girls went to Starcourt Mall and had a good time that it ended up becoming a good friendship. Max, El, and Lilly went to see the boys Mike, Will, Dustin, and Lucas. Lilly and Will quickly layed their eyes on eachother. Johnathon took Nancy to a fancy dinner and they had the perfect night while Steve and Robin were complaining about how much they hate their jobs. Max and El asked if she had fun with them. Lilly; I had a great time. And by the way is Will single. Max; wait what. El; you like Will. Lilly; yeah I think he's really cute. Max; do you have any siblings. Lilly; I have an older sister, but we never get along. She's always so mean to me for no reason. She said with a frown. Max; I know what's that's like I have an older stepbrother he's always angry and he takes it out on me until I stood up to him he doesn't bother me anymore. But I wish that we couldve got along because I really care about him no matter how mean he is to me. She said with a frown. Lilly; i feel the same way about my sister. El; Im so sorry guys about what you're going through. Lilly; how about we go to my house to have a sleepover sure they both said. When they arrived at Lilly's house Lilly didn't see her sister at the house. Lilly; I wonder where my sister is. She said to the girls. Max; maybe she wanted to see what's in Hawkins. Lilly;huh, maybe. Lilly knew that something was a little off because she nows that her sister doesn't give a crap about this town but she didn't think much of it.
Hailey and Billy where going to a man named Murray Bauman. Hailey knocked on the door. Murray;well, well ,well, look who we have here. Hailey; hi uncle Murray. She said with a firm voice. Murray waved with his hand. Billy;he's your uncle. He said with confusion. Murray; what brings you and your boyfriend here Hailey. Oh were not together they said at the same time. Murray;spare me. Murray, Billy, and Hailey sorted out a plan to wait till Hawkins pool closes and to bring their camera to see if they can see the rats again and have evidence. Billy;why can't we just go now. Hailey; because we don't want anyone to get suspicious. Billy; oh so you mean you don't want your boyfriend Brandon to get suspicious. Hailey; oh not that again why do you even care who I go out when you have plenty of other girls that want you. She shouted. Hailey ; maybe you don't want your girlfriend Katie to get hurt. Billy;Oh not that again . he shouted. Murray;spare me spare me. he shouted. Now either you two make up and work together or shut the freaking frack up. Murray; geesh. When they got to Hawkins pool they saw the rats again and this time they got a picture. Hailey;we should get out of here. Hailey, Billy, and Murray left. They didn't understand why the rats come at night. After they left the rats that exploded started to to build up into a tiny monster but the monster wasn't strong enough without a host.
