Another star

3rd P.O.V.

As the sun went down, Jimin couldn't help but be curious about when Nari was going to come back.

"It's getting late. When is she coming back?"

IF she's even coming back, that is.

Nari's P.O.V.

"Please?"

"I can't."

"I promise nothing will happen."

"I don't know if it's a good idea."

"Jin please, I really think I have something."

Jin sighs. "Nari, I'm glad you're getting along with him now. But I'm not allowed to let any of the patients leave."

"Jin, please. He hasn't seen it in 8 years!! We won't be out long, please!!" I get down on my knees and bow down.

It's about time Jimin got to see them.

Jin rubs his forehead with his hand, his eyes closed. "I will give you a half hour, ok?"

"Thank you!!" I jump up and hug him, making him chuckle at my actions. "Just make sure you stay close by, ok?"

I nod my head and walk down the hallway, before swinging Jimin's door open.

"Jimin! Get up!! I have something to show you."

"What the shit?!" He ended up falling when I swung the door open. I hold out a hand for him, "The surprise is ready."

He takes my hand and pulls himself up to his feet. I hold out a black blindfold out to him, "Put this on."

He takes the blindfold from me and stares at it, confused. "Why?"

"God, just do it!!"

He slowly puts the blindfold over his eyes and I move to stand behind him, my hands on his shoulders.

"Let's go."

Jimin's P.O.V.

I feel nervous not being able to see where I'm going. As Nari gently guides me to where I need to go, I couldn't help but smile softly.

No one's ever treated me this way before. She's the only one to treat me gently, treat me like I'm a normal person.

And I love it.

"Ok, Jimin. You can take the blindfold off now." I slowly undo the blindfold, before opening my eyes. (You can play the song now if you want.)

Oh my god.

They're just as beautiful as I remember.

She took me to the stars I've waited so long to see.

I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding. The air visible as it was getting colder outside.

I hold up a hand towards the stars. After 8 years, I finally see the light of my life again.

"It took a bit of convincing, but I was able to have you come out. I know how badly you wanted to see them. I hope you like my surprise." Nari said behind me.

I turned around and froze once I looked into her eyes.

All of my memories rush back at me all at once. My parents, and all the things they did to me, being admitted into the hospital, watching all my old counselors coming and going, and all the times Nari was able to make me smile, even if I was near insanity.

I feel a tear fall from my eye. Then another. And another.

Nari's P.O.V.

As I saw tears slowly fall from Jimin's eyes, I walk up to him and give him a hug. He stays still for a moment, before finally breaking down in tears, and throwing his arms around me.

When's the last time he had a hug?

I squeeze him tighter as I feel his tears start to wet my shoulder, his sobs the only sound breaking the silence.

"I'll keep trying to make appointments for you to see the stars more often." I felt his grip tighten on me.

"I-I've wanted to see them for s-so long. W-When I was younger, it was like th-they were the only things to hold me wh-when I was s-sad."

"Well not anymore, Jimin." I break away from the hug, my hands still on his shoulders.

"I've got you."

Jimin's P.O.V.

"I've got you."

She always finds a way to make me speechless.

It's now that I finally completely look at Nari. The long black hair swaying in the wind, the stars shimmering in her eyes, everything.

I hug her once again when I finally realized what Nari has done.

She's become another light in my life.

Another safe haven.

Another star.
