"Go Blaise!" I hear Christen cheer and clap as I scored. I run back and I go to my position in this small scrimmage. My last opportunity to prove I belong on this team.

After the scrimmage, I walk to the bench. I grab a towel out of my bag and wipe my face. Julie is sitting not that far, I sit myself next to her. She knows Christen very well.

"I have a question if you don't mind" I tell Julie, she gives me a small smile.

"Not at all, what's up?" She tells me nicely.

"She's single right?" I ask her as I nod my head towards Christen who is smiling as she dribbles the ball. She has such a contagious smile.

"Ooooh you're into Pressy" she tells me teasingly and pokes my cheek.

"You didn't answer my question Johnston" I tell her as I keep my gaze on Christen. She chuckles and follows my gaze.

"She's single" she tells me turning back and smirking at me. I nod and I grab my water bottle and drink from it. I walk over to Christen.

"Be bold Martin!" I hear Julie yell from the bench. She causes Christen to look up and she smiles at me confusingly with her eyebrows scrunched. To distract her, I steal the ball from her. I dribble a few feet away from her, and she looks at me with a smirk.

"Alright Martin, try me" she tells me, she gets in a defensive position. I run towards her, and I try to shake her as I fake a right but it doesnt faze her. I kick the ball up and volley it over her, as I run around her and put the ball down with my foot.

"You almost had me there Pressy oh wait you didn't" I tell her teasingly. She playfully scoffs. We play 1v1 with each other for a while. Practice was over 10 mins ago, so most of us are just trying to catch our breath and rest. A few of us walk to the locker rooms. I have a temporary one. I sit and check my phone for any phone calls or messages.

"Martin!" I hear coach yell from outside the room. Oh boy..

I walk to the door and he waves me over. He doesn't look happy.. nor mad. Which makes me more nervous. I stand in front of him. He looks at his clipboard and then back at me.

"We'd like to sign you" he tells me intently.. I get the feeling that's there's a "but". We stand there for 10 seconds, and he looks at me with his eyebrow raised.

"Your not going to say anything?" He questions me.

"Oh! Your serious?" I ask him and I put my hand on my mouth. He nods, and I internally scream. He looks at me smiling.

"Oh my gosh, thank you so much" I tell him, and he offers me his hand which I gladly take and shake. I think I shaked it too much but I'm just really happy. I have to tell my mom.

"When you get back to Florida, we will have an agent for you and we'll go down and you'll sign the contact" he tells me, and I can't help but smile as he talks. He tells me other things I have to do. After our talk, I walk back to the locker room. I run to my phone and dial my moms number. It rings 3 times before she picks up.

Once I sent it, I go through my contacts and I search for Billies Name. I call her, and it rings 2 times.

"Yo what up mamas" she tells me

"When do you want that burrito I owe you?" I tell her as a smile creeps through my lips.

"Ahhh Bro you fuckin made it! I told you!" She tells me yelling through the phone. "Fin! She made it" she says sounding far away obviously talking to Finneas.

"This calls for a celebration, where are you Blaise?" Finneas asks me, I tell them where I am and they'll be here soon. I'm standing outside the building waiting on them. The girls start coming out. Julie waves to me as she walks to her car. I'm waiting on Christen, she's the next person I want to tell. After what feels like an hour, I see Billie's SUV and Christen is still in the locker room. The SUV comes around and the window goes down.. very slowly.

"What's good Cutie" she tells me with her classic Billie smirk. I chuckle at her goofiness. She opens the door and I grab the handle to pull myself up because these legs are to tired.

"Blaise!" I hear someone shout my name, I turn around to see Christen coming out of the exit with her gym bag. I look at Billie

"Go talk to her, and invite her Ho" she whisper yells. I playfully push her, I get off the SUV and make my way to Christen. She walks closer to me.

"I know you talked with coach, so what did he say?" She tells me with hopeful eyes. I would mess with her and tell her I didn't but ugh those precious eyes are pleading me not too. Who could ever want to hurt Christen. Makes me want to be so good to her in every way.

"Uh Blaise" Christen tells me as she chuckles. Shit.. I was staring at her for too long. I chuckle nervously and turn my head to where Billie is, and she gives me a thumbs up

"Your doing great!" She yells lowly. I told Billie about my mini crush on Christen. I give her a playful glare and turn back around to Christen who is studying me intently and biting her lower lip. Oh gosh, she's making me more nervous and I feel my face heating up.

"I made the team" As soon as I told her she engulfs me in a hug. I wrap my arms around her. This is where she needs to be so the world can't harm her. We stay like that for a while. I don't want to let her go.

"I mean you're going to have to eventually" she tells me with a laugh. I didn't realize I said that out loud. I let her go, I blush out of embarrassment. I invite her to tag along with Billie and her brother. We're going out for lunch, and to a nice exclusive Restaurant.
