When the world was created, God chose two beings to balance the light and darkness on the Earth. The Sun was in charge of giving living things life, warmth, and light. The Moon was in charge of lighting the dark night sky and creating the tides that guide the Earth's creatures.
This balance has been around for billions of years. However, the sun and moon were sent one more task after all these years: to create peace between the people and save earth from disaster.
