BIRDS chirped outside, signaling that morning had finally arrived. Today was the day that Chaebyeol had been anticipating for the past week and before she knew it, she had been up and ready hours before her date with Chan. She had completely forgotten that she still had classes today, and was reminded by Min who showed up at her doorstep.
"It's still a Thursday, wake up Chae." Min chuckled, walking alongside his sulking friend. "Why'd you schedule it on a Thursday, on all days?" Min questioned. "He's an idol, today's the only day he's free this week." The female trudged, her hand gripping her backpack strap. "That's understandable. Anyways.. once you have children I better be a god father." Min huffed, only for Chaebyeol to hit him on the shoulder as she mumbled a small 'shut up'.
"I'm being serious! But whatever, you're leaving me because you actually have friends now." Min sighed, frowning down at the floor a bit. "Oh.. about that." Chae wore a sheepish smile before walking ahead of the male and into her class. Minjae could only watch in confusion before entering his own class.
TIME SKIP
Chaebyeol let out a big yawn as she packed up to finally leave her campus. She walked out to find Minjae leaned on the door frame as usual and muttered a small 'let's go' to him before leading the way out. The two finally exited the building and roamed the campus park. Min looked curiously over Chaebyeol's phone as she checked it to see who had texted her. "It's Chan, he's coming to pick me up!" she exclaimed, her face immediately lighting up. "Hm? Where is he?" Min's head perked up as he began to scan the park for the idol.
Suddenly, a masked man began to approach the two. "My favorite Aussie!" Chae sprung up to engulf her boyfriend, who hugged her back. Min moved back a bit, feeling awkward as the third wheeler. "Oh! Come with us, Min." Chan noticed Min's awkward self and called out to him over Chae's shoulder. "Hm why?" The boy asked curiously.
"Don't question it." Chan smiled, only to have Min do as told and followed the couple as they walked to Chan's car. When Chan opened the door, Min was greeted with the eight glowing faces. Min's own expression was jaw dropped as he struggled to form words. Quickly, he bowed down multiple times to greet the members who bowed back with smiles. "Nice to finally meet you, Minjae!" Hyunjin began, causing the fanboy's legs to stop working.
"Min, you good? You liking your new friends?" Chae asked, nudging her friend's arm with her own. "Hyunjin... God..." he managed while his legs gave out. The youngest members in the vehicle were quick to catch the fan before loading him into the van. "We've got him from here. Go have fun on your date!!" Felix exclaimed, while sitting Min down on a seat. "Don't have too much fun if y'know what I mean." Minho winked before he and Hyunjin began making incoherent noises. Chae could only roll her eyes before Chan finally said his goodbye's to them, dragging the female off before the van left.
"What's the rush?" Chaebyeol giggled, following the idol. "I wanna spend my time with you already." Chan pouted, his hand gripping Chae's as they ran through the moderate traffic on the sidewalks. Soon the two finally approached their destination, a karaoke bar. As Chae stood off to the side, collecting her breath from the sudden run, Chan had checked into his scheduled room. When Chan was finished, the two were finally set as they head to their room.
As they Chan began to set everything up, Chae's phone vibrated with notifications.

Chaebyeol couldn't help but laugh at her friend's excited texts. Chan cleared his throat to get Chae's attention, and so she tucked her phone into her pocket and looked up at him. "Is it ready?" she questioned. "Yup, shall I go first?" Chan asked, lifting a brow up at Chae who was resting on the couch. "Yes!" the female responded, excited. Chan didn't hold back from showing off his voice. He sang a multitude of songs, from rap to ballads, causing Chaebyeol to melt at the Aussie's pleasant tone. All Chan wanted to do was serenade the girl with his voice, and it was successful.
When he finished, he finally managed to pry Chaebyeol from the couch. As much as he enjoyed his time singing to Chae, he was excited about hearing the voice that made him fall deep at first listen. When Chae had finally picked the mic up to sing a song, Chan couldn't do anything but relax at the her voice. It felt like all his worries had been lifted off of him, and that the world had been a better place filled with sunshine and rainbows.
The rest of the night consisted of the two singing until their voices couldn't take it anymore (to a certain extent, of course). The two soon finally crashed on the couch, chugging their water down as they were too tired. Throughout the date, Chaebyeol had found out the Chan had been something like your cliché k-drama boyfriend. He could not stop complimenting her whenever the two would take a quick break. He always held her hand and hugged her from behind. And at the end of the night, walked Chaebyeol back to her apartment only to not be able to let go of her hand.
In the end, Chaebyeol couldn't help but giggle at how cute the idol was and separated her hand from his, before wrapping her arms around his waist and ending the night by tiptoeing to peck his cheek. "I'll see you around, Chan." she grinned, unlocking her door and entering, leaving the idol a blushing mess. "Y..yeah, see you around." he finally managed, but it was too late as the girl had already entered her apartment.
Crashing on the floor, Chae couldn't help but grab her chest as she felt her heart pounding. "I can't believe that just happened." she muttered, before the vibration from her phone startled her.
