Ava's POV
Few days later
October 14
It's currently the night before LaTasha funeral. Me and Destiny been running around getting everything together making sure it looks great, then we have the candle light tomorrow night around the circle. The circle is basically just a hang out place just shaped as a circle, Everybody be out there chilling blasting music sitting smoking twerking gambling shit a couple of shoot outs from random niggas overall everybody was cool. I stayed with my few 2-4 friends, I mean I would talk to others but not on no " Yes that's my friend " shit cause no. But now it's 9:00 we been home for a cool hour everybody winding down josh came over today good cause I'm definitely not getting up cooking breakfast, but anyways I'm in the bathroom just got finished wrapping my hair when Dave walked in
" You going to bed already " Dave said walking in
" Yea I have a busy day tomorrow " I said
" Cool what time you leaving " He said
" You? " I question " you not going " I added
"  Umm no why I need to be there " he said hopping on the bathroom counter
" Support and respect " I said
" She didn't respect our relationship so why would I go to her funeral and show some " respect " " He said
" Cool " I said walking out the bathroom going to my bed
" You can't be mad " he said chuckling
" I find nothing funny " I said rolling my eyes
" I swear if it ain't one thing it's another with you " He said
" I don't really care just shut up I'm trynna go to sleep " I said

" You really mad cause I won't go to your ex bitch funeral " He said
" Bye Dave you not sleeping in here " I said getting up

" Matter of fact I don't want you in my house I'll go get Kiarra for you " I said walking out my room going to the girls room lucky they was still up
" Come on Kiarra daddy about to leave " I said
" Whyyy I want to stay " She said
" I know but you can come over tomorrow after everything I promise " I said hugging her " Now let's go to your daddy " I added walking out the room into the hallway
" Really Ava " Dave said
" Yup dead ass " I said
" At least let Kiarra stay I'll come get her in the morning" He said looking at her
" Whatever ok " I said picking her up and walking downstairs " Say come on daddy get out " I said laughing
" See you later daddy " Kiarra said waving
" Damn it's like that cool " he said kissing her forehead walking out. Before he could walk all the way out I was pushing the door and his foot got caught, I tried so hard not to laugh. He turned around looking like he wanna smack the crap out of me
" Shit walk a little faster" I said. He was finally out I locked the doors took her back upstairs with Courtney. I was about to go back in my room until I heard Destiny sniffing
" Oh no " I said walking inside her room " Noooo stop crying you gone make me cry " I said walking towards her
" Imma miss her so much Ava " She said crying. I went over laid down with her and held her, we both fell asleep like that.
Next morning
I woke up the next morning to the smell of food I got out of destiny grip and went to my room and brushed my teeth and all that, imma get in the shower after I eat breakfast. But I grabbed both of my phones seeing it was 9:50. I went in the girls room to put them in the bath but Kiarra was the only one up.
" Good morning babygirl you ok" I said picking her up. She just nodded her head, I took her in the bathroom started running her a bath with little bubbles and crap I started brushing her teeth while waiting. After all that clean shit I got her dressed in some jeans with little holes with a red Paris shirt then I just threw some socks on her. I picked her up and went downstairs seeing josh sitting on the couch eating and watching tv
" Good morning boo " I said walking in the kitchen sitting Kiarra down in her seat
" Good morning finally somebody woke I was getting bored " He said walking in the kitchen " How you feeling " he said hopping on the counter
" I honestly don't know I'm fine I guess " I said making me and Courtney a plate
" I heard you and Dave last night " He said pouring some apple juice in two cups
" Oh that wasn't nothing I don't know why I would ever think he would go to her funeral " I said
" I agree would you go to one of his female friends funeral that he fucked around with " He said
" Nope never " I said
" Exactly now lets go feed my baby " he said. We went over set down just ate and talked later destiny and Courtney came down, Everybody finished I went and hopped in the shower brushed my teeth. Got dressed in a white dress with some sandals and put my hair in a bun, I sprayed some perfume on and called it a day. Dave still haven't came and got Kiarra so I called him
" Yea hello " Dave said
" Where you at it's almost time to go to the church " I said
" I'm busy right now can you take her with you " He said
" The fuck You doing " I said
" Chill I'm just busy I'll get her later " Dave said
" Whatever " I said hanging up. I just went grabbed her shoes and went downstairs with everything. I packed her bag with snacks and her iPad with a extra outfit just in case.
" Ok let's go mothers " josh said being funny
" Akekeke come on " I said
Once we made it to the church it was around 12:15 it's started at 12 but the beginning is kinda boring. But we made it to the front and set down while the preacher was talking, it was so beautiful everything was looking great. It was now time to get up and talk if you want her mom went up started talking but she couldn't even finish she was crying so hard her husband went to grab her. Destiny got up and pulled me with her up on the stage, I looked up and it was pretty packed Destiny started talking I just zoned off and started looking at the casket a few moments later destiny was tapping me
" you gone say something " Destiny said. I looked up and everybody was staring I cleared my throat and started talking
" Well Hello most of you guys know me but if don't I'm LaTasha and Destiny Bestfriend. I honestly wasn't planning on talking but hey" I said looking around" Me Destiny and LaTasha grew at together you would always see me around, we did everything together when I say everything I mean it. She was no scratch that she IS my bestfriend, sister, ride or die, the hot sauce to my chicken " I said chuckling " It's just so sad to see my Best gone like it's just sad because for while we been having problems but I will always love her no matter what but anyways thank you guys for coming out and support" I said quickly. Once we started walking down the pastor said we can view the body now, me and Destiny waited a few until mostly everybody was done. While waiting I checked on Kiarra she was just looking at YouTube with Courtney. Once me and destiny made it up to the casket I just looked at her, she was so beautiful her hair was straight and she had on a light pretty fitted dress, they didn't really put makeup on her which is good. We stayed a little longer then left, they want her mother to come get her ashes in two days. We got in the car went to go get some food then went back to my house to wait for the candle light.
" What you about to do " Destiny asked as we walked in my room
" Go to sleep then get ready for the candlelight later " I said
" You still didn't talk to Dave you know we can't take the girls there " She said
" Nope he not answering and I'll have josh to watch them " I said
" Ok I'll ask him I'll wake you up to get ready " She said
" Ok get out now " I said laughing
" Wowwww Ok " She said leaving out. I was about to put my phone on the charger when I got a very disturbing message, I just replied to it and went to sleep.
