Alpha's Little Mate

Chapter 1

Today is a beautiful day, the sun was just warm enough to bask in it with a slight breeze that sends the fresh forest smell through ones nose, to bad I am stuck in my office doing paperwork.
Outside I see a few pups playing around and the mothers are just observing them while gossiping about who knows what.
A normal day like any other day.
"Alpha, we have detected a rouge scent by the northen border. It's very faint and might just be a traveling one.I will inspect and report back to you." Beta Daniel's voice comes through the mindlink.
Just what I need, rouge problems. "Please do and tell me immediately what your finds are, understand."
"Yes Alpha!" I continue with my paperwork.
Why do I have so much paperwork? That's what I get I guess for running off in the middle of the night.

Fifteen minutes later Daniel's voice comes through my link. "Alpha, you might want to come and check it out. My position is by the lake." What could be so confusing on following up on a rouge scent? It doesn't help that my wolf, Octavius, is a little more irritated than usual and I worry it was because we haven't found our mate yet, but we are still young. She will arrive when the time is right.

I shift and at full speed I run to the lake by the northern border where I find Daniel crouched behind the bushes observing someone.
"Daniel, what is it?" I walk over to him to see what he is looking at. And just like that, I saw this adorable cute little girl.
Her hair light blond like the early morning sun, her skin looks like porcelain with blue eyes that shame the ocean and cute pink lips that a rose could be proud of.
She was absolutely adorable. The sun's rays seems to be following her around while she plays in the field with the butterflies.
What was most confusing about this situation was that this tiny girl, is my mate.
I knew it, that little girl is mine as much as I am hers. She is in all ways perfect.
I observe her further while dismissing Daniel. She is chasing butterflies while giggling when it lands on her nose. I knew that I would give my life for her. But the Moon Goddess really confuses me, I am 18 and she doesn't look a day over 5 years old. I have absolutely no idea how to proceed, but for now I will just observe her from afar.

"Madeline! Madeline! Where are you?" I hear a woman's voice in the distance and then I see her appear, looking quite angry at my mate. I wanted to growl at her, but figured it must be her mother.
"Madeline, how many times have I told you to stay away from here, there is a big strong pack near here and if they find you they will not hesitate to end you love. We are rouges, you have to stick to Mommy's side oky, just like daddy told you." Anger flows through me, how dare this women suggest that I will harm my mate, but also that my pack would kill an innocent girl.
I never wrongly kill anyone, everyone is innocent unless proven otherwise. I have no clue why on earth she would think we would kill her immediately. True we are a very strong and ruthless pack but not unreasonable.
My mate just smiles at her mother." Don't worry Mommy, I feel safe here. Nobody will harm me." Pride swells in my chest as she says that, even as such a young age she feels safe with me and my pack.
"Oh Maddy, I just don't understand you."
The woman shakes her head and plops down on the grass as she watches Madeline play.
"Alpha rouges are running towards the lake, I am chasing them, they are very aggressive!" Delta Kane links me.
Shit.

"Well well well, look what we have here boys, two little snacks."
Just then five men appear, Madeline is pushed behind her mother as she stands in defense. "Aw, does the wee little lamb think she can take us on. Don't worry we'll end you quick and raise that little beauty of yours as a slave of ours, she will make a very nice meal." They all laugh in a sinical way. My poor mate was shaking with fear. Just when they launched for my mate I give out a furoscious growl while jumping over Madeline's mother, attacking the rouges.
I snap one rogues head off, rip one's throught out. I heard a scream and see that the mother was bitten in the leg and the rogue approuches my mate. Red was all I saw when I lept and destroyed his body. You could not see what kind animal it was anymore.

Kane soon joined and took care of the other and all five rogues lie dead on the floor. My body instantly whent to Madeline and I stood over her in a protective stance while growling, my wolf still very much in control. Protect mate! He keeps repeating in my head.
Her mother looks very confused, "Madeline, come here sweety." The moment she said that I press my body on Madeline and growled at her. Kane looked very confused until it finally clicked.
"Alpha, she is your mate, isn't she?" A purring sound escapes my body when my little mate plays with my wolf's fur with no care in the world. The action shocked me, I am not a dahm feline.
My wolf should not be making these sounds! She giggles and my heart just melts. "Fluffy wolfie." I lick her nose as se giggles further. Kane nodds in understading the situasion. "Mam, is this your child?" She nodds yes, still confused about what really is happening. "That is my little girl, Madeline. Please don't do anything to us I swear we are good rogues." Her body was trembling with fear.
"We are the Crescent Blood Pack. I am Delta Kane, over there is my Alpha, Alpha Black and your child, in some twisted way, is our Alpha's mate."

The woman's face went pale instantly, "Wait! What?"
