I woke up and looked around a little I saw lia slouched over on the other side of the room

I noticed the tape was removed from my mouth

A stinging sensation was felt in my right hand causing me to look down at it I noticed my hand had little slices everywhere and that my acrylics where completely gon and my nails where all scratched up

I leaned my head back on the wall and let out a deep breath

" Monroe" I heard lia say

I quickly turned my head twords her

" lia" I whispered back

She was now sitting up regularly

" lia I know I'm a thug and all but I'm scared" I whispered shaking my head

" nahh bitch you scared I'm fucking terrified" she said

" I never thought this would happen ... I mean we would play and joke about it but I never thought this would really happen" I said looking up at her

" he told me I can't talk to you or anybody else except him so if you see me ignoring you then that why" I said

We heard the door handle jiggle so we both let our body's go slump and we acted sleep

I heard foot steps enter into the room

" UP AND RISE" x voice boomed through the room making me jump up

I looked up at him and he looked back at me

I heard lia chuckle a little

I looked at him and ignored him

" you really wanna Break a real right now" he said laughing a little

" hi x Im doing wonderful how you doing" I said forcing a fake smile on my face then rolling my eyes

He just laughed

" ahhh your cute" he said letting out a breath

" well I came in here to bring y'all food and water" he said looking at us

" well where is it" I said

He looked at me

I sucked my teeth

" Monroe stop" lia mouthed to me

I suddenly felt a hand wrap tightly around my throat

" what are you doing" he asked smirking and tightening his grip

" so why are you playing with Me" he said as his voice started getting deeper

He stared at me watching me slip in and out of consciousness with a smile on his face

As soon as I was about to leave this earth and become a angel I felt him let go

I immediately started coughing and gasping for air

" I told you the rules but you decided to break them , that wasn't even a real consequence.... and I'm 100% sure you don't want a real one now do you" he said looking down at home as he stood up

I quickly shook my head no

" imma get you some water" he said before walking out the room

" MONR-

" lia why are you talking to her" ski said coming in the room

My coughing started going down a little

" I-I-I ....." she sucked her teeth " okay come on now ... let's be real here, if your best friend just almost got strangled to death would you not try and ask her if she's okay" lia said

" do you want to be next" he asked

" no sir, I'm good" she said shaking her head

X came back in the room with a cup of water And a plate of food

" here's your water" he said handing it to me

I tried grabbing it but it the chains prevent me from doing so

" awww baby girl can't reach" he said in a baby voice before laughing

I sat there staring at him

" okay imma help you drink it" he said putting the cup to my mouth

I opened my mouth a little and instead of helping me he poured the whole thing on my shirt

" WH-

I stopped myself

" you hungry" he asked picking the plate up

I nodded my head

He stooped down

He dug his fork into the plate of food

No lie the food looked smacked it was candy yams , chicken, collard greens, string beans, and some nice lookin macaroni

He lowers the fork to my mouth then turned it back to him and ate it

" this food good" he said smacking all in my face

" baby girl you really hungry" he asked laughing

I rolled my eyes and looked over at lia who was going through the same thing except he would give her little bites

I felt tears come to my eyes as my stomach grumbled from the smell of the food

" baby girl imma ask you one more time you hungry" he said

I looked at him

" yes I'm hungry" I said lowly

" okay Forreal this time here" he said digging his fork in and actually feeding it to me this time

He only did like five scoops of food then stopped

" thank you" I mumbled

He ignored me and walked out With ski following behind him

The door slammed causing me to jump

" aye Monroe ski gave me a lil chicken leg you want a piece " lia said

I looked over to her

" I'm starting to hate my life you got the nice one" I said rolling my eyes
