Lazy, Lazy Day (Part 1)

CHRIS' POV

Oh... okay, it’s morning once again. I feel like I’m too lazy to get up. Another day was just starting for me. And, I’m too bored and awkward? Probably, I am. But who cares? I think I can decide anything because I’m all alone, right? Gosh, I’m acting like a drama queen. So early today....

Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock....

Now, it was awkward. Great. I woke up earlier than my alarm clock. I didn’t notice that I was awake 10 minutes before the first ring of my alarm clock. Hearing that noise, I began acting like sleepy again. Can I just sleep again and didn’t mind of attending our taping? I hope I could.

Minutes passed, but still, I didn’t thought of preparing anything. I was just here, lying in my bed, looking around, looking at my phone, etcetera, and etcetera.

7:34 a.m.......

I should prepare now, right? Another day of taping with my co-stars. Damn, I didn’t like this feeling.

Then, my phone rang. When I looked at it, I received a message from Riker.

       Yo Chris! Where were you?

Ugh... I was too lazy to reply him. Guess what? I ended up snobbing his message and never thought of replying it. Oh yes, yes. I know I’m lazy.

Another minutes passed, another message. This time, it was from Eddy.

    Chris, better go now. Where are you?

Why they didn’t understand that I am too LAZY today? I didn’t want to go. I didn’t want to get up.

8:15 a.m.... Another message from Dominic.

  Chris, what are you doing right now? Still asleep?

I gave up! What are these boys wanted me to do? Don’t they understand that I am too lazy today?

Then, I heard my phone ringing. When I checked it, I saw Curt’s name, calling me. Awkwardly, I answered it, even that I know what will be the conversation is.

“Hello, Curt?” I said, still lying on my bed.

Hey Chris! Good morning, dude..

“Yeah, good morning.”

Man, where are you? What are you doing right now?

“I’m still on my house. I’m lying on my bed right now.”

Curt laughed faintly.

Thought of sleeping again? Don’t you get a goodnight sleep yesterday?

“Not really. But I’m too lazy.”

Lazy? All of us were lazy. But, hey, we need you here. Everyone’s here!

“Well... even Darren was there?”

Yeah, yeah. I am asking about Darren... this early? Why am I looking for him? Why is that I really wanted to see him even that I’m too lazy to get up? Do you know the feeling when you just want to see someone so early? Too bad, do I mention Darren already?

Yep. Darren’s here already.

“What is he doing?”

He’s talking with us right now. Playing jokes, memorizing scripts, blah blah blah...

“What time did he arrive?”

Wait. I already noticed something, huh.

“What?!”

Why our topic turns to Darren? I am asking where were you, because we have to practice some scenes.

“I told you, I’m lazy today!”

Really? What if Darren called you, huh? Will you change your mind?

Then, I heard Darren’s voice coming behind him.

Hey, Chris! Good morning!

Curt spoke in a low voice.

Hear that? Darren says good morning.

“I know. I heard him.”

Curt laughed again.

Okay, okay. Darren? Chris says...

“Stop! Stop! I hate you!” I said, shutting my phone off. I ended up doing this ‘cause I know that Curt will tease me because of Darren. What’s wrong with that? I’m just asking about Darren. But... God, I think I already missed him. Wait... what did I say? I... missed Darren?! No! I shouldn’t. I just met him yesterday, and now, I kept telling myself that I already missed him?

WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO ME?

RRRRIIINNGGG!!!

Another call. Does this guys wanted me to be annoyed? Curt likes to tease me. Argh! I hate him, I hate him now! If he wasn’t a nice and funny guy, I wouldn’t grab any chance to talk to him.

Annoyed, I still answered them.

Hello, Chris?

“You know what, Curt? Stop making fun at me ‘cause I’m not in the mood for laughing! Don’t you know I’m too lazy today? You know that I’m trying to fight this laziness so that I can go there with you, and you just teasing me about Darren?!” I said, acting like shouting him or whatever. He didn’t answer for a while.

It’s... It’s Darren.

What? So, he was Darren, not Curt? Oh my gosh! What the heck I told him? Did he already hear what Curt teased me? It’s about him, after all. Probably, he already knows.

“Oh. Hey... Darren.”

I’m sorry for that. I didn’t know that you’re...

“No, I should say sorry. I was rude. I’m really sorry.”

Darren laughed. It’s okay. But... you’re coming?

“Of... of course, I was. Like I said, I was fighting my laziness.”

Great. We will wait for you here.

“Sure, sure.”

“Bye.”

Then, I shut my phone off. Darren trusted me to go, so I have to. I should prepare myself now. And my day will start with my co-stars, and with Darren, of course. I expected that this day would be great.
