"Dipper!" I screamed, running over to my brother. He didn't move. I picked him up slowly, than began to shake him. Nothing. "No no no no no! You can't be dead! Please wake up, Dipper!" I pleaded. There was a small twitch in his eyes, than a flicker like a flying insect trapped in a room. His eyes slowly opened, revealing the dark brown of his irises.

"Ma-Mabel?" he called. "Is that you?"

"Yes, it's me. Are you alright?" The girl asked frantically.

"I-I'm fine... Just a little bruised up." Dipper responded. His body had cuts and bruises all over it, damaged from the demon.

"We need to get you inside, you're in terrible condition." Mabel told him worriedly.

"I said I'm fine. Please just help me up." He answered, struggling to stand up on his own. Mabel grabbed his hand and pulled him up. They hobbled together back to the shack to fix Dipper up.

Once they reached the shack Mabel hustled Dipper to the washroom to get him cleaned up. She wrapped up the giant gash the boy had on his arm that was bleeding something terrible. Mabel covered up the rest of his wounds to make sure they wouldn't get infected.

"Gosh, Dipper... How are we gonna explain this to Grunkle Stan?" The girl wondered. Dipper was in terrible condition. Stan would be furious when he saw them. He would never believe their explanation!

"I dunno Mabel... But whatever happens, I'll take the blame. None of this was your fault. How could ever be so stupid!" Dipper signed, putting his head in his head. He winced from the pain in his arms, and lifted his head back up again.

Dipper was right. If he hadn't gotten so stuck in his head and so hungry for the truth, he wouldn't have ever made a deal with that demon. A deal that of course Bill would manipulate. Bill offered Dipper the truth in return for a puppet. Bill got what he desired, taking over Dipper's body.

"You're all fixed up now... The best I could at least." Mabel declared as she stuck the last band-aid on Dipper's shoulder. "Better go talk to Stan."

"Better now than never." Dipper responded, rubbing his arm where he had the huge cut as he stood up.

And with that, the two left the washroom and trudged downstairs to face whatever awaited them
