After the confrontation with Stan, Mabel and Dipper were paranoid for the rest of the evening. They sat in their room, Dipper searching for his journal. He couldn't find it anywhere! Little did he know that Mabel had given it to Bill Cipher in exchange for Dipper.
"Are you sure you don't know where it is? I need my journal, Mabel!" Dipper questioned.
"I'm sorry Dipper. I don't know what happened to it!" Mabel responded. It was partly true, she didn't know what Bill had done to it.
The shadows lurked around the attic room illuminated by only the tiny light on Dipper's flashlight. Mabel soon got a paranoid feeling, as if someone was watching her. She turned around, but there was nothing but a blank wooden wall staring back at her. There was then a tapping on the window that repeated rapidly, growing in volume until it sounded like it was about the break the glass.
"D-Dipper?" Mabel stuttered nervously, turning toward the window. Dipper soon stood up to inspect the noise, but was shot back by an invisible force coming from the window. A cackling emerged out of nowhere, and soon a bright yellow triangle appeared in the air. They both knew who it was.
Bill.
The cackling repeated until the triangle then formed Bill, erupting with blue flames surrounding him.
"Ahhaha! Did you two miss me?"
