Chapter 3: Noiz X Reader

“Cht, damnit” looks like I’m defeated again, I looked down and cried “I HATE YOU!!” my green hair changed into yellow green and my eyes turned into yellow. My strength started to grow “AARGH!” I finally released from the two members who where gripping my hands and punch them right into the faces “I wish I could revenge you two” then I ran towards a free way on the right and escaped. Some of the members started to catch me but Virus and Trip stopped them “Just let her go, she still can’t escape”.

As I was running I started to forget what just happened earlier and my yellow eyes turned back into yellow green and my yellow green hair turned back to green. That kind of power was given to me when I was still a baby, I was an experiment of Toue too but I’m just an incomplete one. I was unfinished because one of the researchers of Toue’s stopped and quit the lab; beside my baby body was two twins born dead. One of them was taken by the researcher, I don’t know who she is I just know that because Toue told me when I was still 5 years old and live with him. I don’t know what power was that but I’m sure that it has Scrap, but I don’t know how to use it since my consciousness is just too low about that. I’m still surprised though that whenever my hair and my eyes turned into different color my strength will rise. “I give up, give up making new members for my Ribstiez group” tears rolling again, it’s been 5 times that my team always been caught up with Akushima and Morphine.

When I was thinking of those things I accidently bumped into someone, and fall to the ground and my head collapsed directly on the wall very hard and made me see nothing but black.

Noiz’s  P.O.V.

            I was walking on the small highway until someone just bumped to me and collapsed on the ground and her head was the first hits on the wall very hard “That’s a pain” I mumbled. I scanned around her and her head was really green like the color that I always used for the background when I use drive-by game in Rhyme. A very green vest and a black jacket, also dark green jeans I looked down to her foot until her shoes shocked me… A green leather boots, really?  This girl is all green; I wonder if her name fitted all the colors she wears. I lift her up and carried her towards my place.

I walk straight up and went inside my condominium and went upstairs and put her inside the vacant room. I’ve turned on the air conditioner and went down towards the kitchen and readied a glass of water. I was thinking if I can bandage her head, but I don’t know how for how many years and months, only Aoba knows how. After Aoba scrapped me, I can feel pain easily now and changed a lot. My old clothes I always wear are now disappeared and I now started to wear a formal uniform like normal employees wear during in their jobs. I took out a bandage from the first aid kit I hide under a cupboard and took 5 ice cubes from the refrigerator and wrapped them in a piece of cloth then I went up stairs back to the green girl. When I’ve arrive, I took a deep breath and hope that I can do this right. I gently put the cloth which I putted 5 ice cubes so that her head can cool down from the moment she collapsed on her head and wrapped the bandages on her head gently.

I put my hand to her chest and try to feel her heartbeat. “Looks like her heartbeat is normal” then I scanned her face and she looks like Aoba. Her messy hair is as messy as mine. I looked at the thing that clings on her neck and it was her headset, her headset is green too. As I was scanning all of her parts she suddenly moved.

Emerald’s P.O.V.

            I was now starting to move and my consciousness is now back and I feel so alive, I can feel something very cool on my head and my head is still aching, I felt myself like I’m laying on a bed. I don’t remember what just happened; I don’t remember where am I now all I remembered is that I escaped from morphine. “Mmmmmnnnn…” I slowly open my eyes and I see all blurred, I see a person in front of me but I can’t see his face because all I see inside the room are blurred. My mouth taste bitter, my head feels like something sharp hits it and my body is heavy and I can’t stood up. I turned my head to the left and saw a blurred window with white curtains and a table, I know those because even when it’s blurred it’s pretty obvious though; I turned at the right and saw someone in front of me with white uniform and a red necktie I can see his face clearly but I’m sure it’s a guy until he spoke “I’m glad you’re now awaken, I thought you’ve passed out” I don’t know who he is, his clothes isn’t familiar and the aurora inside the room is well ventilated like Mizuki’s room, I asked “Where am I?” I can feel a soft hand touching my forehead and then he answered “You’re inside my condominium” then the hand soon transferred on my neck “W-Who are you anyway? And Why am I inside this room, I can’t remember anything . . . and all I see is a all blurred” The thing that always cools my head was disappeared and it looks like he took it cause I see something on his hands. I heard he sighed, “This is hard to explain but the name is Noiz, you were bumped to me and you’ve collapsed and your head hits directly on the ground and it gives a big hit, so I carried you towards my condominium and I have this vacant room and let you lay down” “O-oh…. But when will my eyes return to normal?” “I don’t know, Sorry but I’m not a doctor little girl” The word little girl disappoint me and I immediately reacted and shouted “Hey! I’m not a little girl! I have a name and it’s Emerald Segame!” As soon as he heard my scream he then replied “I’m sorry, I don’t know your name so I called you a little girl because the shape of your body looks like a little girl” “Well my shape and size doesn’t matter! My age is currently 18!” then he suddenly went silent.

“Just wait a little longer, I need to call Aoba” he said as he acts like he wants to exit the room but before he went out of the room I called out “You mean Aoba Seragaki? The guy who can use Scrap?” “Yes, and how you know about it?” “I don’t know it just came out of my mind”

I lied…

I lied because maybe he will gonna kill me if I will tell him the truth and finish breaking me. “Hmm” I can hear sound effects like It’s coming from a coil then while Noiz was talking to Aoba I listened:

“Hey Aoba”

“Noiz? It’s been a long time you didn’t chat me”

“Well it’s not the time about that”

“Why?”

“Because I accidently bumped into someone called Emerald a 18 year old girl, I fixed her head but the problem is that her eyesight is all blurred, does your grandmother have any medicine about that?”

“Just hang for a sec I will check”

“’Kay”

After 1 minute he replied back

“She has, would you request me to visit in your condominium then?”

“Yes Please”

Then there conversation ended.

Then I heard some sounds again like he was turning off his coil and his steps were very obvious that he went closer to me “Just stay a little longer Emerald because Aoba is coming bringing the medicine were looking for to heal your blurred eyesight” his voice, made my heart pump and I can feel a heat on my cheeks “Your face is cute when you blush like that” then that’s the only time I realized I was blushing when he said that “Humph”.

After 3 minutes. . .

 

 

Someone knocks on the door and Noiz immediately went down and Aoba showed up, “Hey Noiz, I bought the medicine, where’s Emerald?” Aoba asked “Well she’s upstairs inside the vacant room I had” Noiz answered then their footsteps are coming closer to the room where my body was lay, I tried blinking my eyes 10x hope if the blurred sight will disappear but it didn’t I sighed deeply “I hate this life of mine” I mumbled then the two already arrived in the room and Aoba went near me as soon as he sees me laying on the bed.

“Oi, are you alright?” he asked looks like his voice is mixed up with scrap and I’m really sure this Aoba is the right Aoba that Toue said, but all I can see is all blue then I shake my head “no” “Don’t worry I have medicine to cure that eyesight of yours”. He pulled out a drug from his bag and a sharp pain flows in my brain and it alerted me “Ahh” I said as I shake and I touched my head “Damnit it hurts” The two saw this coming and immediately acted “Just fight the pain, and here’s the medicine” Aoba said “Open your mouth” I did what he said and opened my mouth and a drug is putted inside “Drink this water” as soon as possible I taste the fluid from the drug I immediately grab the water and drink it.

I only drink half of the water and return it to Aoba. “Feel better?” Noiz asked “Maybe. . .” the drug went inside my body and the fluid inside the drug made me sleep. As my body was still on rest my ear is still functioned and I heard Aoba saying "I'm going inside Emerald-chan and see what's happened to her before"
