How did I know
That it wasn't me?
I guess that sliver of hope
Really did nothing
When I read those words
My world came crashing down
My happiness, gone
And nothing but the sound
Of my heart shattering apart
For the one who kept it together
Is the one at fault
I can't control your feelings
So if she makes you feel alive
I hope that you get her
Even while I'm dying inside
