Little white lie

Giorno's never expected to meet someone who would fully understand him without despising him, aside from the group of course. But he did meet you, the person who had alike views on life and society, someone kind and loving, but at the same time realistic and down to earth. He spent some time to get to know you better and finally realized that you two were indeed similar - you had relatable situations, thoughts, feelings etc.
When the boy decided to trust you, he told you about his difficult childhood, hoping that you wouldn't leave him because of that. Surprisingly for him, you stayed. Not only you stayed, you understood and appreciated his trust. As soon as he finished, you took his hand and told him that no matter what he's been through during his problematic childhood, he was still a really good person, which deserved a lot better. And you weren't lying.
This was a decisive moment, Giorno knew you had to be with him. It was fate. Nobody has ever made him feel so safe, trusted, so at ease. It felt like home for him. All he could think about was that he wanted you to feel the same with him.
After that day, he started observing you carefully, hoping to find some subtle hints of you liking him back. The way you talked, your words, the topics you chose, your body language.... These were all things Giorno started paying a lot of attention to. When he decided that there was a good chance of being in a relationship with you, he started planning a confession that a person like you deserved.
As sly as a fox, he thought of a surprise: he invited you the best restaurant in the city, telling you that "the gang had a meeting". A lie for a good purpose, he thought. When you arrived at destination, you were a little surprised to find Giorno only sitting at a table for two, dressed in a suit and with a bouquet of your favourite flowers laying on the table right next to him. As soon as you approached him, he stood up, greeting you and giving you the flowers, and then started to explain the whole situation. Why he lied about the meeting, how he liked you and found you the dearest person in the world and basically everything he thought of you. During his speech, he had soft, adoring eyes full of love and hope, together with a little blush on his face. This was maybe one of the cutest things you've ever seen, which made you realise that his emotions were genuine, as he wouldn't show himself in such a state to others.

-If you accepted the confession, he would kiss your hand while whispering a "thank you" and he'd spend the rest of the day with you.

-If you refused, he would immediately gaze the ground, too embarassed to look at you. He'd stutter that he understands, but it would be clear how disappointed and upset he was, in both you and himself.
