They said that there was nothing worse than morning sickness. The constant feeling as though you could fall asleep at any moment, the dizziness clouding your mind and of course not to forget, extreme nausea. Sometimes Dakotah felt like it was too much to handle and she had caught herself wishing she had never gotten through with it, obviously that thought never stayed long in her mind. She loved that little monster with her entire heart already and so did Lando.
He had promised to stay by her side through it all and did so too.
He was the one that held her hair out of her face as she hung over the toilet morning after morning without a stop. The one that would make her soup when she felt sick or the one that tied her shoes when she was too big to do it herself.
He was the one that reassured her that she looked beautiful despite her thinking otherwise and he was the one holding her hand when the time was there, his eyes glistering with unshed tears and a smile reaching up to his eyes.
Because the sickness would always turn into something better.
