The next day Kylie woke up in a cold sweat the words her mother said kept replaying in her head *its never gonna last*. Kylie thought she was in love but was she? She gets ready in her cabin then heads out the door, she looks up and there's Dylan standing on her cabins porch with a couple fresh flowers and a bagel."i think we should talk" he says quietly, she nods and follows him to the same bench they met on. "What are we gonna do after camp is over Kylie?" He says, *oh no this is the thing she's been having nightmares about* she thinks. "It's hard enough not seeing you during the school year how am i gonna handle never seeing you again?" He complains. "I know its gonna be hard so why don't we just enjoy the rest of summer as friends Dylan?" She stutters a tear drop falls down her cheek. He nods then hugs her she gets up and walks back to her cabin, she jumps onto the bed and cries. The rest of her summer went something like this the ongoing crying and then pretending to be okay in front of Dylan, he was doing the same. Then the dreaded end of summer came it was Dylan and Kylies last day here at camp, they both spent the night packing up and getting ready to go, when Kylie woke up the next day she had a piece of paper on the ground of her cabin she opened it up. She read aloud,

Love you always, i promise to always be there for you Ky

A tear dropped onto the paper she stuffed the paper in her bag and walked out her cabin door, she saw Dylan at there special bench she walked right passed him to go to her mother "hey mom" she exclaimed, her mom ran up and hugged Kylie "i already checked you out, lets head to the car" her mom said calmly. They drove home, they both stayed silent the only sound in the car was the dim sound of the radio. When Kylie got home she ran upstairs to her room and began unpacking. She pulled out every piece of clothing, until she got to the note when she pulled the note out she fell to the ground and began to cry, reading those precious words, in that handwriting that seemed so perfect. She began to stand up then the doorbell rang...
