The day of graduation

I wake up with my alarm going off. Wow this is my last day of high school. I can't believe it. I get up, and go to the bathroom to do my usual. After I was done i went into my closet, and get my dress that was hanging on one of the hangers. It's a purple dress that really showes of my curves. I put some black open toed shoes on, and wait for gray to come in my room.

I do my makeup, and hear the window.

G: "your up!"
K: "I know right"

I look at him in the mirror

G: "well you look beautiful"
K: "thanks"

He walks to me and gives me a kiss.

G: "well we should get going"
K: "let me put on mascara and then we can go"
G: "ok"

He sits on my bed

K: "annnnnnnnnd done"
G: "that was quick"
K: "I know"
G: "let's go"
K: "wait let me get my gown"
G: "oh shit let me get mine too"

We both chuckle

I get my black gown and put it on. Wow I can't believe I'm graduating in about a couple of hours.

G: "K you ready"
K: "yea, just sad a little"
G: "I'll be right next to you remember"
K: "I know"

J: "you guys ready"
K: "yea I guess"
Nat: "can you believe that this is our last day being high schoolers?"
Nic: "I know right"

We hear the graduation song start.

Nat: "this is us"

The line starts to move while I start to get nervous. Gray seen this, and grabs my hand.

G: "hey I'm here. It's ok"

I nod my head

We walk on to the track and I here people cheering. I look around and see my parents, and grays mom.

We walk to our seats.

I finally got my diploma, I always dreamed of this. I know shocker.

I sit in my seat, and gray does too.

G: "finally"

I smile at him.

I see jace going up on to the stage.

K: "there's jace"

I point at him

G: "oh it's time for the speech"

He smiles at me I smile back.

Nat: "it's time"

He whispers to us.

J: "we have been waiting for this moment for our entire lives. We thought it was just like high school musical, but it wasn't. Mostly friendship, and how your best friend can become your girlfriend. And how complicated love really is. See you think you love someone, but really it was right in front of you this whole time. It just takes time to figure out their the right one for you."

I smile at gray.

J: "we all have different loves. We have friends that we love, we have love love"

We all laugh

J: "and we have family love. Now all of this is probably talking about love cause that's how we live. We have to love something or someone."

Me, and gray look at each other. I just smile at him, and how happy I am with him.

J: "I wish I noticed the person that really liked me, and when I liked her back. It was too late. She already moved on, and she looks happy, so I'm happy. Yea we never really went on a date, but we kissed, and when we did I feel in love with her.

Wait what. I knew who wrote that part, and It was nick. He..he fell in love with me?

Gray looks at me confused.

G: "hey you ok"
K: "yea..yea I am"

I give him a smile

J: "I just want everyone to know is that if you see someone you like tell them. Ask them out quickly, or it would be too late."

Wow. I never really knew nick liked me. Well love me to be exact.

J: "well, what a hell of a ride it was this school year."

Oh here's my part.

J: "a lot of ups and downs, but mostly ups. I found who I really am this year. I found my first love this year, and I found out it takes time for someone to come around. Like a lot of time."

Everyone laughs

J: "now we have to grow up to be adults, and some of us have a plan, and some of us don't. Some of us are never going to see each other when some of us are. But now we are going out in the real word, and we're all scared. But some times we have to be scared of what's coming next."

I hold grays hand tight as I start to cry.

J: "some of us are going to go far away, and some of us are going to stay together. Some of us are going to make new friends, some of us are going to still be friends, but like what Hanna Montana said you'll always find your way back home."

G: "You had to put that in there?"
K: "what?"

We both smile

J: "We made friends, we became lovers, but most importantly we became family."

Everyone starts to cheer and stand up.

J: "this is our class of 2020. See you around strangers."

We all cheer

I look at gray, and he looks at me brings me closer to him.

G: "I'm so glad I have you"
K: "same here"

He comes closer to my face, and our lips are inches away having him teasing me.

K: "oh for the love of god just kiss me"

I smile

He leans in and kisses me. I can feel eyes on us, but we both didn't care. All I was hearing was loud cheering from every wear. I really do love this boy.
