Part forty one

You drive home after school but Alyssa already left as you took a while
"Y/n!"your mum shouts sounds quite worried
"What's wrong?" You ask confused
"I've got some news" she says still sounding a bit sad?
"What is it?" You ask
"Simba fell down the stairs and landed on his head afterwards he was a bit dodgy so your dad has taken him to the vet and he needs to get brain surgery but they aren't sure if he's going to be alright, I'm sorry hunny" she says as she pulls you in for a hug
"I'm going to my room" you say holding back the tears you don't kneel why you will do If stitch dies and what will Lilo do? They are best friends and do everything together so what will they do without each other. You decide to go in a shower and that's when the tears fall you think about how happy he was all the time and how sad you'll be if you don't see his little smile again. After you cry for about half an hour you slowly walk over to your bed after putting on your pyjama shorts and bralette with Mr Simpson's hoodie over the top and as if Lilo knows that Simba isn't doing well she's cuddling into your side as you stroke her gently
"Y/n" you hear Cole say from the other side of your door
"What's wrong?" You'd sniffle and he walks in
"What's wrong?" He Asks as he must see your tear stained face and the state you're in while lying in bed
"Simba" you sniffle
"Aww Y/n! He's going to be fine he's a strong little guy" he says as he sits on your bed next to you lying down
"You don't know that" you say as you hide under the covers
"Y/n" he says as he tries to take he covers away from your face
"Go away" you say while you wipe your tears
"I was just going to tell you the boys are here but I'll tell them you're not feeling like it," He says as he runs a hand over your hair and you don't reply "Aren't you having dinner?" He Asks and you shake your head
"You need to eat Y/n" he says
"I'm not hungry" you tell him
"But you're always hungry" he says with a light chuckle
"I'm too sad to be hungry" you say
"Okay well I'll bring you some cookies later" he says and you nod before cuddling up with Lilo again
(Mr Simpson's PoV)
The boys and I are at Coles but Y/n is nowhere to be seen
"Where's Y/n?" Frank Asks
"Yeah bring her down she's better looking, nicer and funnier than you" Peter says
"Ehh that's a good question I'll go and see her" he says as he stands up and is away up to see her for a while
"Where is she?" Peter Asks
"She's not feeling like talking to people" Cole says as he scratches the back of his neck
"Is she okay?" I ask
"I'm sure she will be fine" Cole says and then a little french bulldog runs in
"What's wrong Lilo?" Cole coos and the little dog cries and runs to the door indicating it wants something and Cole follows it to find out it wants food. The next day I'm back at work and I see Y/n but she's not her normal cheery self, at lunch she's sitting quietly listening into her friends chatting while she silently plays with the rings on her fingers which isn't normally the case she's normally the one who is making everyone laugh but she seems to be upset hopefully it wasn't because of how I treated her.
(Your point of view)
After hearing about Stitch you've been extremely down, not really wanting to speak and interact with anyone. You then go home to see Cole sitting on the sofa with a smile on his face
"Y/n" he cheers
"What?" You ask with a monotone voice
"Don't be so sad" he says as he pulls you in for a hug and you go up to your room and put on a pair of satin pyjama shorts with a bralette and put on mr Simpson's hoodie over the top
(Mr Simpson's PoV)
Cole called me earlier and told me about Y/ns dog having a brain operation and that's why she was sad because she was worried about him which is cute so I told him I would come and pick him up so we can surprise her. We get to the vets and we pick him up before heading to coles house, he opens the door and walks up loads of stairs until we get to Y/ns room where she's sitting on her bed, with her hair up in a high messy pony tail and she's wearing my hoodie! She looks incredible and looks so cute with my hoodie on. Once she notices we are here she gives us a questioning look
"Y/n we have a surprise" Cole says excitedly
"Unless it's stitch I'm not interested" she huffs but little does she know I'm holding him in my arms
"Well you're in luck" I say as I step into her room with a drowsy little french bulldog in my arms
"What?!" She squeals in excitement and her eyes staff to fill with tears and then I pass her stitch and for a split second her cold hand touches mine. She wipes the tears in her eyes with the sleeve of my hoodie which is massive on her
"Look Lilo your brother" y/n says with watering eyes as she gently traces the stitched area on his head
"Aww Y/n don't cry" Cole says as he sits down on her bed and pulls her in for a side hug and she holds her little tired dog in her arms
"Join in bradders" Cole coos as he pulls me into the hug which makes Y/n giggle and that's the cutest noise I've ever heard in my life! But I'm glad she's happy again it was awful to see her upset and not her cheeky, happy little self. Within seconds Y/n falls asleep still holding the dog so Cole takes him from her and places him in his bed and I pick Y/n up carefully before tucking her under her covers
"Thanks for helping with the surprise" Cole says
"It's no problem it's good she's happy again because she seemed really down and not herself at school today" I tell him
"Yeah she actually likes those dogs more than anything" Cole laughs
"That's me with Jesse" I say laughing and then I go home with a smile on my face knowing Y/n is happy and will be back to normal tomorrow.
