This story is so good! Not only does it have a dynostopian, futuristic feel but the plot itself is amazing. You made it in such a way that everyone can relate to the main character, Fei Hong. While she's a fictional character she's relatable in that she's scared and has anxiety about the situation she has been put in and feels she doesn't fit in. And I think most people, especially teenagers can attest to that feeling of not fitting into the social norm of the region in which they live, especially when they're thrust into a situation they didn't really have control over.
Details. You used a lot of details but you didn't go overboard. You put a lot of details where it was called for and used less details when it wasn't really necessary. As a result, I didn't feel overwhelmed with unnecessary details but instead, I felt informed about important details that contributed to Fei Hong's backstory and her development.
Also, I just want to geek out for a second because I'm currently studying computers and that's the field I plan on going into and so the technology in the futuristic world you set up had me like "I need this in my life!"
Overall, your story is so good and I give it 10/10. And that cliffhanger in chapter 8 😨. I can't wait for future chapters and I definitely added this story to my reading list and I will definitely be following you because I can't wait for updates for this story and future stories of yours!
